Brucey is looking nice, some of the leaves have a little yellowing that I've seen in the last 4-5 days but I'm not too worried since I'm so close to harvest (guessing around day 63-70). She got fed 2 nights ago and seems to be drinking relatively quickly. When I checked the trichomes today they are looking mostly cloudy (still some clear) but I'm not seeing any amber heads.

Dude Bruce banner is some of my favorite bud I've smoked to date! Are you going to be flushing her from here on out?
She's not getting any more nutrients since I think I'm going to start the drown (this time with cool water) this Friday (day 62) and she'll probably be harvested 7-10 days later. She definitely has a nice diesel smell to her, probably the strongest smelling of my three plants.

Brucey is still looking pretty, leave tips are curling down a bit but I think this is partially (or fully) due to the high temps in the tent right now, it's been hovering around 85-88F in the day. I'm seeing the trichomes changing to mostly cloudy so I'm going to start the drown tomorrow with cool water.

Nice! Looking frosty and delicious!

I have never tried drowning my plants before. The more time I spend on this site, the more people I hear about doing this. Gets the fermentation process started? I might look into it a bit more and try it with my next crop...

That BB is going to be dank! bongsmilie

I'm fairly certain this one hermied itself, it was from some bud from a local dispensary. It's my belief that the Bruce Banner line is not stable at all thus it hermies much easier than most, a friend just bought an 1/8th from another local dispensary and he's found 3 seeds. It's nice smoke, just unstable genes. If I were to grow Bruce Banner again I would be growing the plant differently, this plant I did nothing to except move to the bigger can, never topped/supercropped/lst'd (until the very end just to lean her since she was too tall). It may be that using those other techiques stresses the plant too much into hermie thus why I find so many seeds in this bud, not too sure. The yield won't be a ton but I bet I could have used a smaller pot, kept her smaller and tried some cropping techniques to try to get better (who knows), the smaller buds on her I'm guessing will weigh around 1.5-2g each, they are fairly compact and about half dollar sized. In about 2 weeks we'll see what kind of dry weight I get from her.

Yea I'm quite excited :). My next grow I'm going to be able to test the drown much better (going to use 3 of the same plants to be able to do side by side tests), this grow I drowned the Pineapple and didn't drown the Cindy. I felt the Pineapple had a much smoother smoke (this could be due to a TON of factors though) but can't say for certain if the drown is working, all I can say is the bud I drowned with hot water turned out just fine. The Pineapple was nothing special to me, I felt I could improve a lot (more on the grow than the harvest) but a friend of mine really enjoyed it.

Thanks! I consider this my first real grow since this is the first time I've taken things seriously and I have learned so much in 3 months. I thought about drowning BB in darkness but the lights are on right now, maybe I'll turn them off in a day or two. The more I read, the more I am a fan of the stable breeds, if I need seeds I can use colloidal silver. Someday I'll try the Cindy again, the next few grows I'm going to be doing all of the same plant so I can understand how to read the plants better.

Brucey is determined to stay alive, 4 days drowning and 3 days without light, still relatively green. I've started to see things go downhill faster for her though and soon those beautiful buds will be drying. It's so tempting to pull a little bud and try it but I must be patient :weed:.

Just found 3 seeds of Chem4 x OG in a bag from a local dispensary, 1 seed of Diablo OG and my friend gave me 3 BB#3 seeds he found, not going to grow those yet but maybe someday I'll grow them out. Next will either be Mars OG Kush or G13.

Nice-looking buds. Should be some fine medicine.
Thanks! Appreciate all the kind responses as this seems to be the final chapter in this grow journal but there will be more to come. I've only just begun my journey into marijuana (and general) horticulutre and finding how much I enjoy it.

Now, for some final pictures, today would have been day 67 for Brucey. Total wet weight is about 73.5g, I imagine she'll lose a good chunk of that weight drying.

Nice man! Good job! Keep up the good work, it gets better every time. She looks delicious!
Thanks, I will be trying a few new things next grow to see how things go. I'm still very new to growing and learning new things everyday. I just turned Brucey's buds and they felt quite wet, they will continue to dry for a few more days until jar cure.

I just weighed the Bruce buds and I now have a total dry weight of around 18.5g, the large top cola weighs in around 8.5g. Onward to the next grow that hopefully starts this Friday with some Mars OG Kush clones and a CMH light.
