First Grow - Is this a male

Hey everyone. This is my first grow. About 1 week ago when this plant started to bud I figured it was mal so I moved it outside. Can anyone tell me if I am correct. Is this a male plant. Thanks for your help

yes it looks male to me.

angels bandit is right unless your going to be breeding which is unlikely. its common courtesy to kill all your boys so you dont pollinate anyone elses plants.

The chances of anyone else having plants within 20 miles of me are really slim. I will kill it though. I am assuming it is good for nothing else. Also I have another plant just blooming. The pics are not that great. Here is some. can you tell on this plant???

are these two showing sex before the others you have. males tend to do that. preflowers are a good way to tel sex before the actual flowering stage.

yes these are the first ones to flower out of 14. I started forcing them to bud about 10 day's ago with 12/12 light.

What can I do? These plants are from seeds taken out of a few bags of weed. They may be different strains. Is there anything I can do to insure I do not get 14 males out of the bunch?

nah bro, nothing you can do but wait.....first grow i did i got 1-female out of 10 plants....3rd grow now i almost did not get any males! so its a chance if they are not fem seeds......

Nope, nothing you can do. Thay are what they are from the moment the seed starts to form. Good luck.

wow, that plant is screaming male!its a myth you can do something like use some chemical in banana peels to make sure your seeds/plants turn female. you got a 50/50 chance to get a girl.

sex is in fact a genetic trait yess but it can be manipulated by environmental factors as well.

and there are things you can do to ensure more females in a batch just do some research ie more nitrogen during early growth i proven to promote higher female ratios. but basically if your plants are happy you should get decent female to male ratios.

there are hormones you can use to enfluence sex too.

ethylene is used to promote shoot and root growth and aid in ripening. ei helps speed it up.

from what ive learned from experience is that higher stressed plants usually turn male.....but regardless, you can get better pictures with your camera if you change to the micro or "flower" setting depending on the camera and its setting types. its usually under "best shot" or can be changed under options.

I've been through it too, my first grow brought one lady out of 6, my second grow brought all 6 ladies.

was funny cause i try to have enough going at once to account for getting males (like normal) ending up with all females KILLS ME cause i don't have the room and HATE TO KILL a female cause of space

i started growing when i was a kid. though i wouldnt really class it as growing. they would grow, flower die, somewhere along the track. from what i remember i had good female to male ratios back then but hardly ant sucessful harvests.

Visitation rights are a bitch lol. id leave, come home, check my babies and sure as shit DEAD.... it was so upsetting really

and dont worry bro you would have to be one unlucky mofo to get 10 males at once or doing something terribly wrong but it doesnt look like your doing too much wrong you just got a bit to learn.
