Hi all

This is My First Grow, and Fisrt Journal, and I hope that along the way, I will be able to get some help, for the problems that am sure will happen along the journey.

Set up
1m x1 m x 1.8m Grow Tent
Two 125w ENVIROLITE 6400K Grow Lamp
400 w HPS
Two 6 plant DWC (made from Fletch build thread)(recomened by Victor V)

Nutes
Canna Vega A & B
Canna Flores A & B
Canna cannazym
CANNA BIO RHIZOTONIC
Canna PK13/14
CANNA Boost

Seeds
5 Female Big Bang (Greenhouse Seed Company)
5 Female White Rhino (Greenhouse Seed Company)

All seed germanated and were transplanted in two small Rockwall Cubes.#

one seed after its first two leaves (white Rhino) died after about 4 days. at this stage they were not in the Grow tent but in a closet temp about 70f

the plugs have now been growing under one 125w evo light for about 3 weeks from seed.

I have made sure they are watered and have just given them there first Feed. (Still waiting for my PH tester to arrive) at the moment they are not in there DWc tanks, as the roots have not yet delevoped enough.

10ml Cann Vega /5lr
10ml Rhiztonic/5lr
11ml Cannazym/5lr

I moved them into the grow tent which is in the shed outside, but the temp inside the sealed tent when I looked was only 52F, So I think I should bring them back indoors, until I chage over to the 400 whps, the plan is tow put them under the other 125 w making 250w until i go to 12/12 then put them under the HPS.

any advice or comment welcome.

Two Plants now have yellow bottom leaves which are begining to curls up on the ends, they have all been given the same feeds, tho the two that are yellow, are smaller.

what is the problem???

Probably nothing to worry about. Those seedling look a little stretched but healthy maybe prop them up for a week or so, a skewer like you use for shish Kabob and the bag ties work well for this. Just give them a little support while those roots get more developed. What was Fletch's recommendation for starting nutes, like I said I have never done a dwc?? VV

Al B just posted something about it and his use, something he was changing. I don't use Canna so I didn't pay much attention. May be helpful?? VV

here are the two products, canna recommeds using the two products along with others, but the pk 13/14 only when small fruits appear then you contuine with the Canna Boost

CANNAZYM

Canna boost is Canna's powerful flowering stimulator, specially developed for fast growing plants, it improves quality and increases yields. Canna boost guarantee's higher yields and also better taste. The yeild will be more homogeneous due to a gradual ripening. Canna boost ensures your plants will become healthier, stronger and less prone to diseases. Even better results can be achieved if PK13/14 is used as well. This is because PK 13/14 provides the plant with extra flowering elements while Canna boost ensures that the plant has the energy to be able to utilize these elements.
You can use canna boost in combination with your regular feed.

CANNA PK 13/14 is a mixture of top quality nutritional minerals that stimulate flowering. This product has been developed for the flowering phase of fast growing plants. PK 13/14 is easy to use and high yields are easily achieved.

PK 13/14 is a high grade mixture of phosphorus and potassium that is added during the flowering phase. Both elements play a big role during the flowering phase of fast growing plants. Thanks to a special production process CANNA has succeeded in combining pure phosphorous and potassium in very high concentrations and this makes PK 13/14 available to the plant quickly and directly.
CANNA defines the NPK of its fertilizers in accordance with the new European legislation and regulations. Since then, NPK values are given on the basis of mass and not on the basis of the usual volume percentage any more. So the recipe for PK13/14 hasn’t changed, there is still 13% P and 14% K as usual in the trusted PK 13/14.

here are some more,

at the moment these plants are not in the DWC tank as the roots are not that long yet. only just showing at the bottom of the net pot.

I think theplants are showing these signs, as my ph up has not arrived.

My Ec i can get to 1.80 but then my Ph goes to 3.6 and really cant get this to improve without my Ec going the other way. lol

Have plenty of PH -, have just given them just water tonight, and hopfully in the morning my Ph+ would have arrived..

Yo spence, 1.8 seems to high for their size, as for your problem with the ph swinging, you need to get yourself some liquid silicon, which works wonders as a ph up and is also really beneficial to the plant.
