first grow ever using autos 600w/10 northern lights

what pot sizes did you use beaves?

I'm using 7 inch pots ive no idea how many litres that is?

right so this morning i woke up to a fuckin nightmare!!! had a check on the beasts and had a heart attack when i see the carbon filter has ripped the clips out of the ceiling and everything....fan, carbon filter, ducting was just laying across all the babies ......none of them are really damaged thank god but a few leaves had been torn off but thats about it!

all is back up again without to much trouble and made damn sure it aint comin back down again in a hurry!! heres a few pics of the room/babies today....

Well that sucks, but you're lucky because I heard and seen worse on YouTube about lights and crap crushing plants. They look pretty how old are they now and what type of lighting are you using? I'd look it up but the internet on my cellphone is too slow lol.

Yea I bet! I imagined the worst when I saw it but someone must of bin watchin over them coz they were hardly damaged at all!
They are now 5 and a half weeks now and I'm usin a 600w hps light, just a standard one not a cool tube or nothin

As far as im aware when autos go into full flowering more like mine already has, surely growth stops and just blooms?? I only ask as mine dont seem to want to stop....lowest is 26-28 inches and tallest is 36 inches....and my grow room is getting very over crowded!!

Yeah I'd probley try and sell two or mabey move them to a little outside spot so that there's only 8 and they should stop growing and focus on just bloom forshur after week 7

How are they recovering from the ducting accident?

That turned out just fine....had another accident tho....the light slipped to within. 6-8 inches of the plants and scorched 5 of the 10 plants, severe damage to the main colas n just waiting tup Tuesday to see if I need to top them or just cut away the dead parts...fuckin gutted but it's my own fault for skimping out on the cost of decent equipment!

How's things over with yours?

What were you using to secure your reflector? Also what kind of ballast do you have? Could you post pics of the light damage?

Basically just to bits of thick string from the reflector up to 2 bits of wood I had stretching across the ceiling, they went secured just wedged between the 2 walls....I have a standard euro reflector nothing expensive n not a cool tube, yea I will upload it for yout when I get back from work today, to be really honest they are absolutely fucked...well 5 out of the 10 anyways the others are fine

right so after that disaster i hope to be on the home straight! ive reinfoced the wood slats running along the ceiling just to be on the safe side and by the next grow il have all the proper equipment at my disposal with a plan B just in case! ive topped 3 out of the damaged 5 since they wernt improving what so ever but the other 2 appear to have small bud growth around the burnt areas so ive left them be and hoping for the best anyways heres some pics..........

Does anyone know why my plants have kinda stopped or should I say slowed down on the flowering? Since the last pics were taken (above) some have grown at a steady rate and some have really slowed down a lot...??? Is this normal and they are now on week 6 and a half, shouldn't they be more developed by now??

Like bud growth?
The stretch stops at about week 3 or 4 of flowering so maby
urs are finally just focusing on the buds. Not vertical growth like in veg.

They also could be stressed from the accident.

Yea that was over a week ago now n most vertical growth has stopped, because of the accidents I shocked them into not flowering for a while but they are doin great again now...since the pics above they must have nearly doubled in size!

I'll be starting a couple of NL Autos in a week or so. So, I'll be watching for more updates and to see how yours yields. I'm only going to run 2, next to a couple of Pineapple Express autos in a small cab with a bunch of CFLs.

No probs 420 ok be updating tomorrow evening UK time with pics so u can get a rough idea of what the yields can be, I'm on week 8 now and I'm estimating give or take an ounce a plant on average
