Mr Solo,
I'm a little bit insomniac so am at my computer in the middle of the night...I'll give you a few thoughts.

Best to determine a water strategy and stick with it. If your water is too high in ph and ppm you can go with RO or distilled. Or you can merely dilute your tap water a bit. Say two gallons of tap plus one gal of RO. That would lower your ph a bit while still leaving plenty of ca and mg in it. Whatever you decide...stick with it.

Once you have the CA++ added in (either from RO+calmag or tap water) then if you still need extra Mg I like to use epsom salts. Doesn't mess with Ca.

PS The soil should buffer the ph but if you do ph it...shoot for 6.5
Awesome! Thank you for the detailed response. You have been very helpful to me on this grow. I really can't thank you enough.

Update - I watered the plant that was previously getting no nutes. I gave it cal-mag and mega crop. It's deficiency was more apparent today so I hope that helps.

The plant on strictly mega crop still isn't thirsty yet.

These things are little bushes. I have seriously contemplated some defoliation. Take a look...

Ok, I fucked up again lol... The plant getting mega crop got watered today. I was giving nutes half strength and planned to continue that. But, being the idiot I am, I accidentally gave it full strength. I just left it like that, no flushing. Any thoughts? Think it will be ok?

Took some pics today... Nothing new really... I put in a stronger fan, and one of my branches broke. I like to think that it just topped it for me lol. Oh and I accidentally snapped off a fan leaf when trying to tuck it.

So I seem to do more harm than good as of now lol. But I'm learning...

I have officially begun flowering. I could have vegged longer. However, I'm not concerned about yield on my first grow since it's just for me. This is mostly about learning.

I chose to do 11/13 based on things I have read. I heard some good things and there didn't seem to be much of a downside to trying it. Here's some pics.

MrSldl,
Looking good. She'll stretch on you but probably not more then double. You'll get some smoke for sure. The red or sometimes purple stem thing can be strain related or sometimes P deficiency. Put plant looks so good...probably not a worry. Keep up the good work...

Thanks. As long as it's good quality I will be happy. I can't get the good stuff where I live so I was pretty eager to flower. Next time I plan on doing at least 6 plants to go for a bigger yield.
