lol my first grow was done with tinfoil and a cfl bulb
Then again that was 7 years ago and i was 16.
One thing i must recommend
You got all that nice gear, why dont you get a nice pack of seeds, with reliable genetics?

My 600w is about 20-30$ , depends on the stage of growth.

yea man, i was told a 600 would prolly b 30-40 bux a month while vegging (24 hours on) , but flowering bout 20bux a month, also i have done quite a bit of research on the whole "grow" , i am kinda what you would call an ocd grower... i just feel nasty inside if i know that i somehow overlooked a very important variable. but like i said, I am trying to grow up some good shit, and in order to do that you really should do the research before you throw your beans in da dirt. also, RIU is a godsend, i have learned so much from this forum it is awesome...... also with the 600 setup you can 1. get your light closer to the plants giving them more lumens 2. lower your energy bill every month 3. i hear 600 and 1000 really isn't too much difference due to the fact that you can get your 600 alot closer due to heat issues, oh yea, make sure to get yourself an inline fan or heat will b an issue

If both are female the only down side is reduced growth/yeild as they fight for light and room that close together. Now if one turns out to be male he could do root damage to the other trying to remove it.

OK well to answer all your enquiring minds, the fuckin thread reads "first grow ever! bagseed :0 " anyways, that's why i have two in da buckets, because i am sure there is going to have to be a culling sometime down the line as the males show themselves. so hopefully i get at least one fem in each, that's the plan. But yea, the lil one in the small pot is a SLH clone, my first successful clone out of 2 clippings. so yea, that will definately b one momma, i also have some white russian-serious seeds- beans i picked up and i am gunna make a mom outta one dem too. but yea, the bagseed in place right now iz just for funzies to see what the fuck this farmer can achieve the first time through. i can alrdy forsee that the next grow will kick this ones ass ten fold, since ill know what i have and that they will all be female from the get go. also, i just threw in my hps bulb and was thinking about making the 12/12 switch. the quicker i do that, the quicker i will be able to start my second grow. ya feel me

I was also wondering if and when the males rear their ugly selves and i have to pluck them, woudl it be alright if one of the two in the buckets was a female and i just snipped the male out and left the male roots, would that fuck with the other plant left in the bucket or will i b alright ?

Im thinkn the roots n stuff should just die off. get some hygrozyme to help break down the dead root mass and anyhthing organic thats dead it will break it all down.
