Hey so I never had a grow room before. I worked in some and did some outdoors. After chatting with the big guys in this game I finally decided to make the jump and open my place.

The area:
600sf-ish
Garage mezanine

Lights:
22 x 650w LED LM301b with osram 660 IR, 8 bars per light, 2544 LEDs per fixture, Meanwell 650w driver, 3000K color temp

HVAC:
5 tons goodman AC
10 x 16 inch fans (wind devil or something)
Dehum is China made claims 280 pints a day at 80% (so not AHAM), we'll see about that
Co2 will be kept at 800-1200 ppm during day time

Grow medium:
12 flood trays 4x8 on plastic pallets
8gal buckets in coco
Drip fed from a 1000L water tank outside the grow room (for temp)

Nutes:
Probably will start with Remo and move on to Jack's once I'm not a total noob anymore

I do bloom only, I get the clones as ''teens'' in 4x4 rockwoll that I will then put in the coco buckets, they're about 2 feet tall and ready to flip when I get them, not set on strain yet, I have plenty of choice.

Any tips or comments are greatly appreciated

Your going to grow commercially

And yer looking for tips

Good luck with that
More like thank God he's come to the right place and not winging it. if he listens to what the accumulation of us talk about and agree on, he'll kill it. He already slam dunked with the lights.
You're set yo exceptionally on lighting. Also I'd start with jacks becauses Remo is expensive shit. The recipe is so simple.3gs Jacks, 2gs CalNitrate, and 1g Epsom Salts per 1Gallon of RO water. You can bump up to 3.6,2.4,1.2 week 2.
You getting ready to flip clones in cubes is a huge advantage to the most difficult part of the whole thing. Just place them evenly spaced with the intention of them getting 2-3x the size at flip. Use trellis to get an even canopy, lollipop EFFECTIVELY and remove ANYTHING 8-10" below the top of the trellis and throw those lights down 10" away from your tops and blow it out.

Yup the Jacks 3-2-1 is what I will eventually go for, but on the first run atleast I'm going to stick to something idiot-proof. I have alot to think of and really don't want to mess this up. And FYI I work with commercial growers in the same building as mine, they're here to hold my hand the whole way thru, except they're old school and hand water their plants and use HPS. I wanted the new toys :)

My water won't me RO (yet), eventually I will get there. as for treillis I need to figure out a way to set them, from the wall it's not an issue but at the end of the tables I'm still wondering how I'm going to do it. Will definitely prune alot and keep them clean.

Thanks for the tips, that's exactly the kind of info I'm looking for!

I would either buy premade tables or make some your self with wheels out of PVC to hold your flood trays and trellis frames. You may also want to look at a quality Dehu, like a quest. Also, the trolmaster environment controller's are super cool. Can control everything from lights to co2.

Will eventually get the roll tables and the trolmaster setup. As for the Quest dehu, that's what I was going for but then got told by other growers that the compressors are China made, but the rest is assembled in the US/CA, I had doubts and asked a HVAC distributor and he told me all the Qest compressors are Chinese. I haven't confirmed this myself, but that swayed my choice to a no name dehu. I will let you guys know

Which one are you going with? How much less expensive is it? I was looking at this Anden or a Quest.

From what i hear you're better to go with Anden. I went with this: https://www.alibaba.com/product-detail/138LPD-dehumidifier_60740358229.html
But paid a bit more because I bought locally. So far I've heard good stuff from it, but won't know for sure until I try

That looks kinda like the heavy duty Ideal Air dehu's. Let us know how it works. Really interested if it can keep the humidity from spiking at lights out.

Nvm, they're legit flood trays. But I'll be damned if you couldn't mistake them for heavy duty tote lids at first glance!
lol yeah they're the real thing and got a sweet price on them too ($100 cad). I'll be drilling holes in each of them for the excess water to go to drain.

Rain Bird system (wifi of course) with 4 independent zones. A bit of an overkill for a 30 lights setup but I see this as a protoype for my future bigger rooms. Don't mind the tangled wires and the crooked timer my OCD will fix all of that.

Why not, that's the easiest piece of the puzzle. $100 and done. If you're gonna spend all that money on a setup, no reason to cheap out and use tap water just to save $100.
Water in my area is about 150ppm so it's not that bad. Also a RO system for a 1000L tank would cost alot more than $100. I swear I'm adding it soon dude :)

Strain I chose:

Colada is a cut of Oni Seed Co's Tally man and is a mix of Banana Dosi-do (Banana OG x (OGKB x Face Off OG BX1) and their flagship Papaya (Mango x Afghan). Expect short plants with dark colours and bright orange pistols.

She finishes flower in a very quick 56 days expressing a short structure and a canopy of thick top colas.
Colada has a high leaf to calyx ratio so it is important to keep a properly pruned plant to maximise yield and genetic potential.

The colada flower has roughly 20% THC as well as having some THCV! The flower has a bright fruity and floral aroma much like mango papaya and fresh cut flowers.
