Water in my area is about 150ppm so it's not that bad. Also a RO system for a 1000L tank would cost alot more than $100. I swear I'm adding it soon dude :)
If you need more output a Hydro Logic Stealth-RO300 will filter more that in a day and is just a bit over $200. You're gonna be looking at a lot more ph swings with that 150ppm tap water compared to RO.

Definite sub on this one.

My advice is to take a keen interest in how to work the hydro part of this, year thru: wheres your tanks? How to you assure right temps year thru, winter and summer without spending a huge amount on heating water in the winter? How do you maintain proper ph day by day? How will you control ec in/ ec out from the grow media? Not saying i have the solution for any of these things though...
Also: red state grow? As in stealth and no regulations? Are you sure your lights will get ok by firemarshall if this is a regulated grow?

Just ordered it. Do you know if it would be more efficient as in speed if I put an inline pump thru it?

No no no no. RO systems are built to work specifically at home water pressure. Putting a pump on it would just cause your membrane to break and stretch out. Ruined.

I agree completely. The Blank Slate that RO gives you, allows the nutrients to be so easy to work with and avoids those pH swings in such a huge way.

Going to purchase the nutes tomorrow. Sticking with Remo for this run. Any recommendation on a particular recipe? I'll be feeding twice a day, once 30 minutes after lights on and another time 6 hours later. As you know I'm doing flowering only.
