I flushed my grow 3 weeks before harvest, and essentially it was 1 week of rain, 1 week of drought, and one week of rain, then I left it in darkness for a few days extra to dry out before I chopped it. I wasn't using heavy nutes, but I think the idea of letting it really really try to get all the nutes it can is as good as trying to flush them away? So during that drought week I figure water very little here and there and see if the roots seek out that shit like we would the good bud it'll get us :P

How much water are you giving it typically? Any sense?

i'm giving them 1 liter water, its enough to get wet all the soil and some left in the plate of the pot...

Ah, your of the let their be extra philosophy?
I've watered that way at times, but for some reason when I was discussing with a good friend of mine who's got both years of experience, and years of life of me, we were talking about the idea of the roots eating more voraciously if they were starved once in a while, kind of like angry dogs ya know?
Thoughts? :bigjoint:

it could be D.tea...

today i bought CO2 tank for aquariums... 2012-12-28 17.48.30.jpgDon't know how much will effect on plants... i sprayed it like 15 second from the intake fan and thinking to do it several times during the day...

tonight i'll change my setup from 250w to 400wHPS and use this 250w for my second grow...

What you say about, Is it OK to grow my little baby with HPS light???I know MH lights more effective on vegetative grow but don't have right now..

Well, people grow 12/12 all the time, thou usually with CFL's, but if you've got a nice proper HSP I'm sure the process can be replicated? Maybe give it a week or so of CFL veggin' to take hold and 12/12 it under the HPS...see where that takes you>?

today is the 20th day of clones.. Now they have their own root system in soil and one of them start to heal herself... Don't now what will be the final of these clones but i should get them closer to the light i think. They are standing bottom of the closet and not get enough light to grow because of the Hijacks.

So what's yours advice??

You should avoid using clear pots. Your roots that get exposed to light will not like that at all and could stunt your plant severely.

hey ppl,

DAY 60

80 percent of the trichomes are cloudy now.. smell is awesome when i open the closet. ANybody now when to harvest Hijack? Should I wait trichomes to become amber? or what is the percentage of the amber/cloudy ???

Clones are 24 days old now. I transplant one of them to larger pot and she is growing everyday. The other two is still in small pots, i will transplant them also in a few days...

Looking great! May want to chuck clones in garbage? Never heard of anyone trying to clone Autos before? Wait till 50% amber and 50% milky trics appear before harvest....some people go 70-80% amber 20-30% cloudy...People believe the more amber, the more "Couch lock high" etc........Nice job!

Why throw away clones? Just want to see the final...Doesn't matter how much they will give..I didn't spend time or any effort to grow them, they grow by theirselves.
I'm gonna do soil grow with clones. It's just for fun. :weed:

Great work, thats a nice lookin' plant. Those clones will be interesting to see through, cause theoretically they'll be done the same time as the main plant (at least if I understand auto's correctly)
Anyway, definitely wait till lik 70-80% of your trichs are amber, then make sure you cure it properly and the rest should turn during that process...then you'll be HIGH son.

They look good bro, bout time to cut em down eh? I have read that rejuving plants is a great way to cut down on time. You can rejuve a plant easily up to three times. Just cut off the buds and stick them back into veg for a little bit until they show signs of new growth, then just stick em back into 12/12. Hope that helps. Love and light

DAY 66

I take them down people... All crystals turned milky, i smoked few times before harvest and realized that is what i want..Smell is very powerfull and taste is awesome... 300g wet weight of both plants... Start with Cfl's to 250w HPS and Final 400 w HPS.. I transplanted them, fimmed one branch, topped one branch, over fertilized them, made 3 clones from them and still they give very precious flowers to me.. Fimmed or topped auto flowers is bad bad bad....
