This is my first grow im almost three weeks into it. i planted my baby on march 13th. she's doing well in my opinion. my space is about 19inches high 19inches wide and 36inches deep. mad small spot but its working. i got two 26w CFL's 6500k daylight. im not planning on growing mad plants back there. just babying them until they're strong enough for outside. i may put them in a bigger metal cabinet which is big enough for budding. but anyways. it gets about 80-85 degrees F back there. im working off a 18 on and 6 off light ratio. i used a piece of a coat hanger to hold my baby straight up so it won't droop. i thought it was a pretty good idea. anyways here's pictures of the setup and my baby. feel free to comment.

Sweet set-up man, this is almost exactly what I want, but I may have to deal with a more confined space but its cool, I only want one plant for my first try. But the question at hand is would you lower/raise the wattage of the CFL's? I have 2 laying around my house, but the read, 120V, 15W and 3500K, could a couple of these suffice, for a single plant ?(chances are Northern Lights)

well i have two 26w 6500k cfls on one plant. for veg you want higher kelvin and flower lower kelvin. so i would just get two 26w 6500k cfl. 6500k is key.

no use the 2700k (red spec.) Bright Effects sells them in two packs at Lowes for a little over $6 bucks, 7 after taxes..

edit: i'd keep one of the 6500k in there with atleast 2 @ 2700k

Hey man very nice setup. The CFL craze is growing. Your plant looks awesome. I'm facing some space constraint issues too. thanks for stopping by my thread. I'll definitely follow this one.
