no he's not right and neither are you.. MY FUCKING GOD ... is weed some magical goddamn plant that need some special chemical regimens that basic fertilizers don't supply??? wheres your guy's head at it has nothing to do with "slow release magnesium" all this bad information your giving fucks peoples grows up... if you don't know what your talking about sit back read and learn... don't give input thats incorrect or your guessing on.
if he planted in miracle grow soil he would have been fine with no issues in veg at all had he properly watered.. not over humidified the air he wouldn't even be on the board.. and no one would be downing the use of miracle grow soil... I'm so lost on why people think weed is this fucking ultra rare plant that requires all these special things to grow and can't grow in certain potting soil.. its bs .. i mean your sitting here telling him to get out of salts and time release soils.. ocean forest carries a shit load of salts and theres amendments in there that last up to 3-4 months.. so whats the difference? other than miracle grow isn't a origanically amended soil.
didnt even finish reading your shit ,your a dumb fucking chemical farmer ,yes it is weed but weed and any other living plant has to have a food web and you abvously dont no that ,so continue on in your journey of miss leading people of thinking chemicals are a cure all.

You are right. It has nothing to do with slow release magnesium. He meant Miracle Grow not magnesium. It's clear if you read the whole sentence. You seem to flip out a lot. You must not medicate enough. :bigjoint:

I've seen some killer ass MG grows. I actually know an old man that stick with just MG. I'm not saying u cant grow in it. But when u don't know how to use MG properly it could completely fuck some shit up. He said he had tried flushed the soil but Mg releases it nutes with water. So I was trying to say he may be burning his plant with all the nutes built up trying to flush it.

You were quoting JDGreen in the post I replied to. Not old shol4evr. I was making you aware that JDGreen was referring to Miracle Grow not magnesium. That's it.

Basically the point is that people don't read thoroughly then respond out of haste. Such as old shol4evr saying your a chemical hack, yet clearly your signature and avatar point to the contrary. Generally people in the "community or culture" tend to be more mellowed out. Some of you seem to be wound a little tight and quick to pounce.

Is miracle grow ideal? For some. This really boils down to each their own. I like having total control of what is going on, so coco is for me. I have been researching super soil, no-till etc... and that may be the future for me due to simplicity. Have I used miracle grow? You bet. Will I again? No. I think it really is about the learning curve and what is available to you and what fits your budget. Cheers!

yeah fucking miracle grow is NPK ... so is everyones chemical regimens.. only difference is people that use chemical lines pay for extra shit like mycos and we separate our NPK generally but you are right you can have a successful grow with it.. no reasons you couldn't..

the problem still remains that his plant wasn't having issues in anyway from magnesium.. nor was he having any issues in the soil he was in.. his issues were ph and wet/cold soil.

Now this post I could see how someone could come to the conclusion that magnesium is being referenced.

I do agree with u completely. Like I said in the beginning I'm probly just tapping the nail on the head and someone way more experienced will come in and hit that shit with knowledge. I'm still learning myself and read Miracle Grow releases is nutes with water. I'm not disagreeing with no one kinda just studing and learning. So ur saying he had gotten his ph out of whack and the soil kept it to wet. And since he has little light he's not drying the soil properly? So it's keeping the roots cold, and roots hate cold? Sorry for all the ?s

Alright so this just through me off a bit. I have quite a few plants growing and one by one theyre starting to have yellowing leaves. What is/isnt in miracle grow soil that is causing this. Ill upload a few pics.

:) just let the cups dry.. most of the time solo cups that don't have either a heat pad under them or a fan constantly blowing over the top of the cups they take forever to dry sometimes. i have cups that don't dry for like 4 days when they are overwatered .. or stick a heat pad under them so the soil temps stay warm and dry properly.

Overwater is the top armature issue and any newbie should take a note of it !
OH stay on here.. it happens all the time and everyone will jump you for saying someones overwatering..everyones first answer is it s a magnesium issue.. or chemical issue.. or its a deficient.. you can't tell people that shit here no one gets it. heck just go back and re-read this post.. it was fucking clear from the beginning the issues.. but everyone else chiming in say OH its a nitrogen issue.. no its a PH issue... no its a humidity issue... LOL..
