He transplanted twice during the grow. At day 43 he transplanted them to 5 gallon smart pots. I think he before that it was 1 or 2 gallon.
Looking forward to seeing final results on all the girls. Congrats, job well done!
Thats correct, 2 gallons then 5 gallons. I didnt check the roots on the chopped girl yet and ill try to take a picture but my guess is given my veg time slighty bigger pot could have been better I feel like the roots are taken most of the place in the pot.. ive been watering almost everyday for the last month and a half or so a bigger pot and maybe a bit more perlite would have hold a bit more water at a time

I was just talking about that in my grow linked below. I have 7 gallon smart containers, and they seems to be able to hold 1.25 gallons of water before they start draining. And at 3 weeks flower they are wanting more every 2 to 3 days, mostly 2. I water slowly though. With the smart pots, they dry out quicker because air gets through the fabric. I've seen some growers water the drip trays too, so the plants can suck up from the bottom.

Sounds about right I had a 5 gal pot for watering 7 girls giving between .5-1gal per girl.. i didnt have a tray so never let much excess water.. i had small cooking aluminium pan under the pot so there is some air at the bottom of the pot too.. ive notices some roots getting through the bottom so I assume they were drinking in that pan although ive notice most of the time its pretty dry ill try to take a pic of that.. smart pot seems the way to go.. dry faster but I cant wait to check the roots im sure the pruning was pretty amazing

So put the buds in jar got about 11.5oz of good bud and 2 oz of trim out of 4 girls.. one still drying from earlier this week and 2 still in the tent for another week and a half or two.. i have one big girl in the tent and one smaller so I expect 4oz from one and 1.5 from the other more or less so I should hit my target of 1 pound + some trim but ill reconfirm final weight once im there!!

Just wanted to take the opportunity to thank everyone who followed my journal especially @BCbud316 which I had some very good discussion with!

bravo mate! I've just got some of these boards for my 4x4, hopefully I can produce some similar results!
Thx ! I didnt provide any update in some time.. 5th girls hit 1.5oz dry so im sitting at 13oz with 2 girls left in the tent chop is schedule for saturday morning im leaning to a final weight of 17-20oz which will bring me at a good 1g/w for a first grow with "fake alibaba light" thats pretty decent I think.. but will know more in 7-10 days after the last ones dry.. i can defintively confirm the smoke is great from the WW very satisfied with the final product in both taste and effect..

Final dry weight is in..

Got 4.25oz from stretch girl and 3.25oz from the other one with the 13 i had already harvested I finish this run with a final total dry weight of 20.5oz of good buds plus about 3 oz of trim.. for those that it interest thats about 1.10g/w which I think is decent for a first grow those extra weeks with full light on the last 2 definitively paid off..

Im happy with the result. It was a long way since feb 1.. but I pulled it off. Next grow should be my 4 remaining ww seeds ill be able to do a better training with only 4 girls.. ill expect about the same maybe a bit better yield.. i learned a lot but I dont think Ill do a journal for my next grow ill still hop on the forum from time to time try helping others!

Once again thanks everyone!

Nice grow! Do you have a plant restriction? I'd do a SOG style grow. Rooted clones with 2 week veg, straight to 12-12. Tall square pots, edge to edge with Coco. Like my pic :-)

Yeah plant restriction althought I wont get into that ;)

Sog the way you want to do it will give more yield but probably a big job to water all of them and keep them all healthy but I never tried.. i had two seeds left so this grow is two plant in a 4x4 i just flipped today to 12/12

Found out a few weeks ago that my soil was too acidic which creates some nuts defiency.. watered them with baked soda 2 times fixes the issue now they are green green! If you have any question let me know..

With a big sog likes yours id probably aim for more boards or strips to get an even coverage all over the space

Nice grow! Yeah... Baking soda works that way, and vinegar works the other way. Bonus growing with coco is that it takes exactly what you feed it and no guesswork relating to soil. It also grows faster.

Probably the best thing about sog is if you get good rooted clones, you can pretty much flip them straight away to 12x12... That's about 7 times a year with the right strain. Will save you the 2 months lost in veg.

I'm getting 3 QB800's. That should be plenty... I might add a couple of purple COB'S in there too. We'll see... My space is only 1.1m x 1m.

DWC will get you there faster too. Anyways, enjoy it :) looks good bro!
