Well, i checked on them yesterday and theyre still dry(the leaves) so im not sure if theyll make it but im gonna germinate some more seeds later on today. The new seeds, should i start them in small cups and then transplant or should i just start out in the pots?

if your planning on restarting, be sure to fix the problem you had....it was the heat right? figure out a way to maybe grow them some where else but your attic if at all possible....

I think heat was a problem, but didnt affect as much. It was more of the fact he couldnt get there to water.

Maybe u should try getting DWC a try. No watering for 2 weeks :)

Joesalamon: Ya, but my budget is kinda tight plus its my first grow so i dont wana try anything fancy yet, but im gonna get the pots that you have since they have a built in resevour.

Tryintogrow: Heat was a problem but surprisingly not really a fatal problem.

Question--is it dangerous for the plexiglass to be touching 1 of the cfls?

Well guys, the girls are officialy gone beyond repair. I have 9 seeds germinating and 5 have cracked and sprouted but i have no soil to put them in.

Please someone answer ASAP:neutral: What is the best soil for MJ that you can get at walmart:confused: I know they have MG moisture control, MG potting mix, and Shultz potting mix... Theres more but this is all i can remember, so if you got your soil from walmart please let me know which one it was:confused:

Peace:peace::blsmoke:

I have read some bad things about the moisture control. Most involves easy overwatering and nut burn. It may work for your situation though.

If it holds moisture well and you cant get to them as often and your temps are high, it may be good. But dont take my word, I have had shit luck with soil.

I wanna pick up some FOXFARM soil for my next

Sorry about that first grow man, it was looking so good. Good Luck on this one. It should be better since you have learned from your previous mistakes.

Hey guys, sadly after much thinking ive decided not to go through with this grow until im more prepared and have some indoor space, ive decided to give my setup to a friend who can take better care of them and will have the setup indoors so temp wont be a problem. I will try to update once a week starting sometime next week when we get it set up.
Thanks for all that stuck with me and helped me throughout the process hopefully i wont have as much trouble with my buddy in this next attempt:-)

I think it is a good move. I was only following to see if it could be done. I really didn't think there was much of a chance in that environment. Better luck with your next grow. Give some serious consideration to a stealth cabinet grow in your closet. You need to research ventilation and odor control. If you can think of a way to vent to the outside you will do well. I think the key is getting a quiet duct fan and being able to vent to the outside or ceiling. You can easily repair holes in drywall.
