edcocks: Wow i just looked at some and they look pretty nice but theyre kind of expensive since this is more of a practice grow to see if i could carry some plants over to harvest if it does work then ill probably get some 30+ gallon rubbermaids along with some real intake like the S&P Mixvent fans and invest some more money into a new project until then im getting curius on how much this weed can really tolerate and still give me some smoke... guess well find out:-)

Hey guys i came across this (https://www.rollitup.org/newbie-central/6642-how-do-i-prune-my.html) and it looks really usefull so im not sure if i should do this or stick with the lst, what do you guys think:confused: Also, if i were to try this pruning wouldnt it have to be still in veg state:confused: and the tops that were pruned, would it be possible to make clones out of those:confused:
stick with lst if youre unsure a lot easier for starters i find and you can always give up on it if you fuck it up

That pruning you found is called FIM, well that one that was a detailed post. Definitly do that if you can. It is what I did and you can see from my results it just fucked exploded my plant with budsites all over. I can find some better pictures of where you wanna cut. Its pretty much just chopping 3/4 of the node off. Close to topping it just not all the way.

O dam so you did a combination of FIM and LST? I think im gonna LST in a tornado and keep it going around untill the lower branches catch up with the main stem then i will let them all grow upwards, with this its kinda like the same results: bunch of budsites and all the same height:-)

Update: 5/22/08:cry:

Hey guys i just checked on my ladies and they looked like shit:cry: I hadnt cheked on them since sunday so they were all dry. All the leaves were dry and drooped down. I gave them lots of water with superthrive and 1/2 strenght nutes. I also transfered Briana, Daisy, and Felicia into bigger cups I will transfer Casey and Elizabeth when i get more soil. After a while they perked up a little but im honestly not sure if they will make it:cry: No pics sorry but theyre just not worth looking at, I will check back tomorrow with a new update. Oh and i added 2 23watt 2700k that i had laying around, i will install more fans and plexiglass tomorrow.

They will come through. I have seen mine like this and they cheered up after a nice dosage of water. Just give it time and love, they will come back

Small update today: plants still lookin shitty although they sucked up all the water i gave them and the tops are starting to look green again. Gave them some more water without nutes or superthrive. Added plexiglass and replaced the 2in intake fan that i had with a 5in walmart fan and also added a walmart 5in fan by the plants to help circulate air. Anyways, pics...hopefully theyll get better and the temps get lower, i probably wont be able to check on them until monday so i hope they manage.

You definately need to get them in bigger pots if you want to go several days without watering. They need it daily in those small cups. My seedlings drank half a cup of water daily when they were in the heat. I know this because I would put them on a scale before watering each time. Once placed in 1.5 gallon pots they can go 3 days between watering.

Yes, but the only problem is that if i were to put them in bigger pots then i would not be able to have them right up by the lights because the bigger pots are too wide.
