thanks for the advice man, I think i might take a few pics tonight.

Im on day #40 now. I have noticed the plants have began drinking more than they were at the start. originally they only required 2litres or so but now I am giving them double that. Things are going well but I am wondering when I should start flushing with water? I am thinking that I should start soon? Maybe if I post some pics with flash tonight it would help and you guys could tell me when would be the best time

thanks man, appreciate it.

here are some pics with flash on I took. I messed up the light schedule a bit because I was fiddling around with the fridge abit last night. think the light came on a couple of hours earlier than it should have...
you may also see a few leaves burnt because the light got too close at one stage. Any guesses at what strain this could be?

ps im on day #40.

when should i begin to flush??

hey willy,:clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap:, as for strain they look as though they are an indica, as the leaves are quite broad, possibly from the white family, but hey I cud quite easily be wrong. either way ur gonna have an awesome smoke. presuming u flower for another 20/30 days, I would flush them for the last two weeks or u could start flushing when the trics are mostly cloudy. hope this helps.....good luck and happy growing :-)

Hey eman. Yeah I think another 20 days should be enough but I could be wrong. I just ordered a jewellers loupe online so I can see the trichs. It seems that is the best way to tell when the plants are done.

I also was wondering if doing a feed/water/feed/water and gradually easing off the feeds would be better than just going straight water for the last 1-2 weeks

Kick ass bro! Don't worry they will be a good smoke, just remember the dry and cure is just as important as the grow. After drying them for a week put in glass containers and air daily, cure for at least 10 to 14 days before you touch them and after that, the longer curing the better. I cured some for 3 months once and dude it was like smoking rocket fuel!

Hahah yeah I think I am going to take the proper time to cure and dry them and not rush it. Want this to be the best smoke it can possibly be and hopefully best I've ever tried. Thanks for the advice man

Thanks man things are looking good right now. However I have noticed the leaves mainly on one or the plants seems to be drooping/curling down and I'm not sure why. I don't think it's overwatered and not sure what else it could be. Will post pictures soon

Haha they definitely have plenty of light. I thought it may be caused from too much light but I think that's not really possible. They look kind of similar to how they were looking when they were rootbound. I'm pretty confident they aren't rootbound again though... It's also weird because its only on one plant. They still seem to be growing fine but it is bothering me a bit

Also watering I think is ok. I water like every 2 days when it starts getting dry. I think I might give them a big flush today and see if that hells

I wouldn't worry. Sometimes the 'older' leaves will start to yellow naturally as the plant nears completion of flowering. This will increase if you decide to cut back on the nutrients toward the end. I'm only saying this because based on the pics, it seems like it's only happening on the fan leaves that grow straight from the stem, while the bud leaves look healthy.

They look good!!!

Hmm I was prepared for the yellowing however the curling seems a bit strange though, is this also through lack of nutes? there are a couple of pics of what im talking about below

here is a picture of the yellowing and curling/drooping. any ideas?

Willy don't worry about the leaves. Your plants are nearly ready so the plant is using the nitrogen (green) in the leaves as food to help with the buds getting ready. Yes there may be a few minor other reasons but mainly this will happen towards the end of your grow. IMHO. Your buds look good and these leave wont change anything. Resit cutting them off just let the plant use them and some will fall off. You will notice it is only the bigger fan leaves that is mainly doing this. The ones close to the buds are fine. Normal in my opinion......
