The budlings smell SUPER sweet already, like really concentrated plant sugar if that makes sense. It smells so good. It's not stinking my room as of yet and to the untrained nose it probably doesn't even smell like weed.

have you got any form of odour control or anything for later though? Cos thats going to stink your room up especially when drying and stuff, since your grow is so small and you need noise control I wouldnt go for a carbon filter unless you have to cos they will mean you need a stronger fan and unless you get a really strong fan and use a fan speed controller to turn it down a bit it'd be loud. So id try and find some ona blocks or gel or something and just put it by the vents to see if that works once you start noticing the smell

I have ona gel and ona spray on deck for when ppl come around. But as for when it's just me it won't matter about the smell. Here's a sneak peek at my vegetative closet.. interesting how colors of seedlings' stems and leaves vary already by strain. I have a Jack Herer fem, True OG fem, and a Ghost Train Haze #1 Reg seed. Also I have Papaver somniferum in the long pot. 20151220_121944.jpg 20151220_122007.jpg 20151220_122030.jpg 20151220_122052.jpg

I would say all of them are under 1 week old currently. I germinated all 3 at the same time and Im hoping that the ghost train will be male so that I can make some seeds between these three strains

depends on what method of training you do, low stress training like just tying the plant down or scrogging it are fine other methods like topping and supercropping are really best left to veg cos its kinda just a lot for a plant to deal with (although they bounce back pretty fast). Anything is much better done in veg because you can control how the plant grows from when its small so it fits your space/lighting arrangement better but i think most people who do any form of training, myself included, train from veg right through until the end of the stretch in flower so you can make sure everything is where you want it.
--edit--
obviously grow however works for you but im growing in cabs as well and the best yields I get are from flipping the light vertical and setting up 3 screens covering all sides but the door to max out my canopy space. It works well to keep the canopy at an even level so you get light to as much of it as possible but you definitely need to plan before you do it because space gets pretty tight when 3 walls become covered by your plants and you have to lean past the light to get at your plants and nobody wants to be fixing that while its all up and running

I haven't done any training yet but my flower garden is rapidly growing in size and number.

What qualities make a branch a good viable clone cutting? So that I can preserve this strain of white widow. Also, i have colloidal silver 240 ppm spray bottle. Which method would be best at this time? She is 3 weeks into flower. I will probably end up trying both to compare. Thanks

As I've stated before I'm not an expert, but i take cuttings from either lower branches i don't want the plant to pour energy into, or tops when i top the plant. Just my $0.02

I haven't taken any clones yet but I did some maintenance ( vacuum grow area, water, remove yellow crusty leaves, position lights ) and this is what I'm working with, just snapped some quick pics. Week 3 flowering 20151223_015451.jpg 20151221_075058.jpg

Nice work bro I'm doing some white widow under some cob LED lights now and still vegging. Definitely keeping an eye on yours to see how they turn out. Looks great. I had that heat issue too which led me to the LED route which is good on heat for me. :bigjoint:

I'm dying to pull a test bud to smoke soon, how long you guys think I will have to wait before I can do this with a popcorn low bud? It smells so much better than by my dime bag street shwack...

age of my plant is Veg 1.5 months and 3.5 weeks flower but getting budlings all over the place.

Good things come to those who wait!

I plan to pluck 1 bud each week starting at week 6 of flower. Ill use a medium size bud since the popcorn buds will likely be lower quality. Not sure how long mine will take to flower, but this way i can check the potency, flavor, and see the finished product on a time scale.

my advice is you keep the lights way closer to the plants, cfls and led dont give off nearly as much heat and you can put them right up to the plant almost, i know my leds and cfls well and id keep them from 1-4 inches away from the plant, 1-2 for leds, and 3-5 for cfls
