First closet grow

I got my Mars Hydro LED hooked up but I was hoping someone can give me some tips to improve my grow area as there are a couple problems. To name a few, my extension cords are in bad bad position! Since the switch because of the short cords I can't even close my closet door. Also my fan needs a better spot. Are there any products I could use to fix these issues? Any tips or product recommendations greatly appreciated. Thanks 20151205_124102.jpg 20151205_124121.jpg

Looking foward to seeing your results with this light. You should have your clip fan lower so it's pointing just above the plants. Itl help circulate the warm air up towards your filter and fan which should be at top of tent. That's assuming your using a extraction fan and filter.

After nearly 12 hours of this light and high temp between 91-97 farenheight my plant looks worse than ever and is very droopy. I have no ducting and only that one small fan. I moved the fan, dangling on side below led, facing to blow on the plants. It seems to help but not enough and I couldn't find any fans at the store today. I'm afraid I'm gonna lose her if she has to go through this again tomorrow, what should I do about this?? Help please20151205_144837.jpg

Holy shit mate that's way to hot u desperately need an extraction fan and ducting and to vent the hot air out the tent. Do u live in a hot country? Also leave the window open in your room to let the heat escape. They well defo die above 30c mate. Just get a 5 inch inline fan and 5 inch ducting. Il show u my setup when I get a minute

My tent is 20"×32"×62", in my closet, and just outside is my bedroom temperature is about 72 degrees farenheight. I did install 4"fans and ducting 1 exhaust 1 intake just now but the fans feel weak, also have the 6" fan circulating and a humidifier installed but if it's not better tomorrow I will have to return the mars light and try to find another that better suits my needs.. I have no idea what I'm going to do :( my windows stay open and it's roughly 40 decrees farenheight outside

Mate that extraction fan won't be doing much on top of tent. There's nothing wrong with your light it's the ventilation what's the problem. Growing in a closet is a disaster waiting to happen there's no where for the air to go. I tryed this once and the plant died. Your not going to get much cooler than a led light. Are u doing it stealth at your parents? Is that why u don't want big loud fans? Lol iv been through that. Anyways here's mine so far 600w hps 6 inch fan filter and ducting managing to keep my temps between 21 to 23 c only because it's cold outside and i keep windows open with ducting pointing towards open window.

Yep I'm stealth with parents lol .. ventilation is definitely my issue. I have been doing lots of research and maybe 250w CFLS are the best option, what do you think? Also I found some other good priced deals on CFLs just not sure which is reputable or which is best to choose thanks.

I also ordered a Ventech 4" hopefully that will fix my temps. Should I use it on intake or exhaust? For now I have x4 42w bulbs and temp is already at 88 degrees in tent today.

Have it in your tent blowing the hot air out through ducting. I'm suggesting this to keep the noise down as if u have it outside tent sucking the hot air out itl be louder would be perfect if u could get away with cutting a hole in your closest ceiling so u can put the ducting up into loft exhausting the hot air into loft.

She is alive and i think she is going to make it! Im at day 10 flower. No visible signs of flower yet.

This is what I got going on now but I'm not sure how it will work out.. tonight is the 1st night so I will keep watch and test it for sure. I built a new flowering room out of 3/4" PVC, panda film, gorilla tape and velcro that measures 58"x24"x58"... I have currently x4 55w 3800 lumens each and x1 105w 7150 lumens but adding more soon. I have a 20" box fan exhaust on the back with passive intake works good but loads of negative pressure even on lowest setting.

I made the closet my veg room hopefully lower wattage (x4 23w 1600 lumens each) will help temp in there for seedling and clones. 1449782809846-529544906.jpg 14497828595961487826088.jpg

Looks good man hope it works out. Can u sleep ok with the noise of the fans
The 20" box fan is louder than I thought it would be but it keeps it cool and I figure I'll get used to the noise while I sleep since I run lights at night time. If it continues to disrupt sleep I'm going to switch it to run daytime which I think it will be alright even with daytime temps, because the fan vents so much air.

Update for my White Widow, we just began week 3 flowering with this plant. What do you guys think? I'm using floragro nutrients. Some leaf curl and discoloration at lower level but only minor damage I would say. 20151218_094609.jpg 20151218_094458.jpg 20151218_094437.jpg 20151218_094430.jpg 20151218_094412.jpg

Because of the lighting i can't quite tell the colors of the leaves, but it always that, like me, you may have a magnesium deficiency. Can you put up a couple photos with non red light? And take a photo of the stems too...?

Im sorry, i meant a P or K excess, which will also cause mag def.

Just a novice opinion... if it doesn't get worse you may not have to worry about it. Just keep an eye on it and have a contingency plan. :D
