Finally drying! Yield looks poor, my guess is 7-10 grams. There's some lower buds still finishing on it. But quality looks nice at this point I can't wait to smoke some.
Ffof and mg organic soil.
One gallon pot
Strait cold tap water Ph right on7
Strain: ak47
Flowered 9 weeks
Used only ff growbig 6-4-4 and not alot.
Ended up 16 in tall

Well it was a collective effort between my buddy and my girlfriend and me . Were proud. I have 8 plants growing all with about 3000 to 8000 lumens a peice lots of 23 and 42w bulbs . I think I'm harvesting a snow white within two weeks. It looks to have 50% more bud and still looks beautiful. Thanks for the responses!

well, youve gotten the quality part down, now ya just got to work on the quanity part. Good job. First yeilds are usually more about learning than the actual bud you get anyway. Next one you should easily beat this one. Youve got a promising future as a grower.

Veged for two months. Its more about learning for me right now. I made a few mistakes on the older four plants. All but one got a little rootbound. This AK also had a tiny nitrogen def. Snow white which is almost done got even more nitrogen def. I'm thinking what's holding me back now is pot size. I plan on flowering out my 6 other girls and upgrading to a thermostat controlled AC room with two cooltube 400w hps. So the next 8-10 weeks I'm going to save up some cash. 2 19 in plants are just starting 12 12 last night and 4 14 in plants started preflowers. The big ones have a total 13000 lumens in 3 square feet. The small ones about 10000 in 4 square feet. I'm pumped cause I already have the AC for the room switch.

damn sounds like you got some plans ahead of ya. i agree about the learning part. half of the reason i kept on vegging was to see what would happen after a little more time, man am i glad i did! the plants nearly doubled in growth in the past two weeks. An a/c room would be nice... something i am just now beginning to fantasize about.

Gotta keep them small. Just switched them to 12 12.

so after 2 months you just switched them to 12/12... were they already showing their sex by then? and also part of the reason you flowered at 2 months was to keep the plants short?

well my set-up is ever changing. i readjust light as the plants need it. any plant stretching alot is wanting some xtra lumens, while a plant that is burnt or retracting its leaves edges wants some higher lights or just less heat... i add fans as i see fit , speaking of that i gotta turn one fan down a bit(getting winter here). those two plants ive harvested were clones from a reputable caregiver ordering origanally from reputable seed banks.. i have two more of these from clone plants which just i just started on 12 12. the four other plants that have preflowers are good strains from good local med patients i started from seed. got real lucky all 4 female. yes to both keep short and i just dont have the number of cfl's and fixtures to make the bigger. im learning how to make more from what i have though... next project is 400w hps. looking for good info type Uncle Ben and Riddleme in the search bar(read as much as u can. seriously, there eye openers)... happy growing

if your largest bulb is 42wats you cant have 8000 lumens, lumens do not add. the largest bulb i have is a 105watt putting out 6200 lumens. the bulb and base are huge, makes a good top of plant light with smaller bulbs positioned near other bud sights around it. I'm a super nub but i've read a ton on CFL lighting.

I turn to the internet for my lighting needs because Homedepot has crap for CFL's where i live, no 6500k, and highest watt 5000k is 27watts and highest watt 2700k is 34watts.

super congrats on growing your own. in the first few weeks of my own attempt and its not looking super fly but i've learned alot.
