Day 37 (x1 Girl Scout Cookie)

Watered today. 1 gallon of tap water with 1/2 tsp of tiger bloom, no CaMg. This girl doesn't seem to be stretching as much as the last 2 GSC's. Not complaining, as long as she gives me around 2 ounces, i'm happy.

Also, ordered some more beans for next years grows. I stuck with FastBuds and chose a few more strains with the 8-9 flowering period like the GSC. Of course I ordered some more GSC beans. I'm not done with this girl just yet.

Girl Scout Cookie auto feminized (x3)
Gorilla Glue auto feminized (x3)
Green Crack auto feminized (x3)

They threw in a few freebies

California Snow auto (x6)
Jack Herer feminized (x3)

Excited to try some other strains, but also totally happy with just growing GSC.

Sounds like a full grip of winners in your garden come next year. Looking forward to watching some of that action.

Chugging along. My pics won't upload I'll try again later. Just about 2 weeks and this bitch will be done.

Day 52 (x1 Girl Scout Cookie)

Last 2 waterings I used tap water with nothing else. Sone leaves are starting to yellow, but I'll continue to use only water the last 11 days.

This girl only hit 9 inches. Very tight node spacing. Curious how much it will yield though being so small.

Day 56 (x1 Girl Scout Cookie)

1 week until harvest. The larger leaves are starting to show some ugly yellow spots. Those areas are very dry and brittle. Not sure what it is. I'll just ride it out and continue to water with just plain tap water.

The dolomite lime helped throughout this grow. I'll probably try and add a little more lime the next run, maybe that will fight off this issue towards the end.

Very anxious to harvest. This girl is smelling delicious!

Day 59 (x1 Girl Scout Cookie)

Watered again today with just plain tap water. It had only been about 48-50 hours since the last watering, but she was dry and light as a feather. Will continue to use only tap water until Sunday.

The last two were done at 63 days. I'm not 100% sold this one will be though. Maybe she will finish fast in the next few days, who knows. The main cola is mostly receded red hairs. The other colas are half and half.

Day 63 (x1 Girl Scout Cookie)

Looking ripe, but still seeing white hairs. The smell is so overpowering at this point, much like the last 2 grows. This strain is not advised if you cannot contain the aroma. I haven't watered for 4 days, so I've got a decision to make. I'm going to post some pics and then look back at the previous grow and compare.

A few side notes. My shipment of beans arrived. They replaced my California snow auto fem freebies (x6) with some Six shooter auto fem (x6). Also I germinated another GSC auto from my first order and it sprouted (via paper towel method). It didn't make it as the tap root for some reason dried up and it died. I don't know if I am injuring them during transplant or what, but i'm not having very good luck recently. Of the past 4 seeds I've germinated (x2 blue dream, x2 girl scout cookie), only 1 of them has actually made it. My first 4 seeds I germinated all made it to harvest. I'm almost tempted to just plant the seed in soil and not mess with the paper towel method.

Anyways, that's where I am. Here's some pics.

Day 1 (x1 Six Shooter)

I'm rolling the dice and trying one of the freebie auto feminized seeds I got.

She has sprouted a tap root and was placed in a freshly watered 3 gallon grow bag. I added some more dolomite lime before watering and then put a small layer of fresh soil on top of that (and watered it too).

This journey begins. Rather than make a new thread, I will just continue to use this thread for my grows, even if it isn't a GSC. Is there a way to change your thread title?

48 hours drying (x1 Girl Scout Cookie)

Temps are holding between 68-73 F and RH is between 32-38%. That's running a humidifier 24/7 and also opening the window to keep temps in the low 70's.

72 hours drying (x1 Girl Scout Cookie)

Trimmed off the excess stems and put it all in a jar. Weighed in at 38g.

Will monitor the RH hourly. After one hour it is at 59%. I used a humidifier during drying but it was still around 35% most the time. I don't want this smoke to dry out too much, so i'm probably jarring a day early. But I will open the jar and remove buds as needed to avoid any problems.

Day 3 (x1 Six Shooter)

The seed shell was struggling on this one to open up and fall off (low RH right now I guess). I used a pair of tweezers and gently was able to open the shell and remove it. The leaves are yellow, but i'm hoping it will recover quickly.

Day 9 (x1 Six Shooter)

Growth is slow. Low humidity is a challenge right now, 15-20%. I'll push through these winter time issues. But, i'm going to germinate a Green Crack auto bean to run alongside this Six Shooter. Green Crack is listed by fastbuds as 8 weeks, Six Shooter is listed as 8-9 weeks. The Green Crack will be about 10 days behind, so hopefully they harvest close to the same time.

The GSC harvest is beautiful! Only 29g (from a 9 inch tall plant) when fully dried, but it is an amazing taste and high. It's very similar to the previous GSC harvests, but the nugs are very dense. Not a lot of popcorn buds, just some solid nice colas.

Looks great TDX! I'm missing the GSC..gonna have to do another grow of that soon - maybe I'll try this auto version...
Thanks. The GSC is definitely a good strain. I'm really struggling with RH issues right now. I'll do another run once i've iinvested in a decent humidifier that can actually maintain a room at 40+% RH.

My six shooter is 13 days old and really at a crawl. I've even noticed some brown spots on the tips of the first set of true leaves. The green crack bean I germinated and planted, didn't make it. Dug it up this morning and the tap root was dried up and dead. My 16% RH and 76-80F temps are just not giving them a good environment to sprout.

This cold weather can feel free to exit left anytime soon. I look forward to greener months ahead! In more than one way.

Day 1 (x1 Green Crack)

Ok here's where I'm at. The Green Crack bean I germed/planted a few days ago and I though was dead, has sprouted. I buried it on the outside edge of the pot and reused that pot for the 2nd Six Shooter bean I planted a few days ago. The Green Crack bean was surely dead, but it's sprouted, it's some unbelievable shit really. The 2nd Six Shooter, I had to do some surgery to remove the seed shell as it was not opening due to the RH issues (16%). It's not looking the greatest, but i'm hoping some light will help it stand back up. I'm going to wait a day to see if both make it and then i'll have no choice but to repot. I'm not going to waste the GC bean and no reason to toss out the SS either.

That's where i'm at. Here's 2 pics, but it's nothing great going on right here. The older SS actually has some brown spots on two of the leaves. I have watered very little since potting.
