Ah the Grinspoon, she is challenging but WORTH IT!!!lol.....wait to you see the buds on it/ weird shit(like pussy willows)....Like I said before, couple friends judged last year's cannabis cup(brought some back!!) and all unanimously said no contest vs the BF's tangerine dream/or anything else, It is killer smoke; no question. You will rethink what a great high really is, I paid $85 an eight for it in philly (that's a discounted price!!) he sells it all out very quickly, the smokers who know it will pay even a $100 because they know the effort and time it takes for her to finish(half a year!!)....I can only imagine what the supersoil will do(loves heavy feedings)/ I'm coming over for the trim:P

The closest(not really) to this strain's experience IMO is BF's LSD, put it is a distant second..........I would grow this strain NOW(lol imagine that journal length), but i don't have the wattage or space unfortunately:wall:............well you know how I feel about her; it's that good............Now I want some, gotta see if that grower is done his biannual harvest...............sorry for the long love song........happy growing Endo

Oh yeah it will be quick from now, ... I figured another 90 days or so :eyesmoke:

She is so wimpy too there is no weight on the branches yet and I am having to tie them for support! It will be a blast luckily I have some plants around to keep me from getting impatient.

By the way, I finally looked at the ph of my water :eyesmoke: with ph strips. I looked at it (tapwater) before and after it sat for 24 hours (didnt know if it would make a difference...) and it showed 6.2 both times. I will look at it again in a few days to see if this number seems to be consistent ... would you say it's a bit too low?

I think it's not too far off and being that its organic in big pots it should be ok? ... well it has always been!! until recently with the channel+ and the violator kush but that could be other factors. Everything else looks good.

pH strips are not very accurate.

Generally, tap needs to be alkaline so as not to eat at the pipes that bring it to your home. Mine is typically 8+

I pay $30 for an eighth.... $85? That's just silly.... almost $700 for an Oz... Over $12,000 for a Lb....

yes but that 85$ is not just for an eighth of any pot! it's Grinspoon!!! , ... out of dispensary :eyesmoke:

I have never paid over 30$ for an eighth, I used to pay 25$ or 3grams for 20$ was a good one too. Grinspoon would have to be pricier if I was to sell, I am sure they will go longer than 100 days when I am looking at them after 25... (thank god I didnt veg them, you could easily fill a basement with 1 plant :eyesmoke: )

yep....85 an eight/no discount on weight either(well on the smaller weights anyways); why?....she yields nothing/can take up to half a year per harvest/finicky all around/needs training = spacehog/wants massive wattage = large electrical bills over a long period/unstable with big temp changes =Hermie!....hence the price......people in the know will spend the money for her and yes the grower makes a killing/but I think it's justified:-P

Its 2007 over there or what. In our present time the best kush or goes for 30 8th all day long. If I paid 85 an 8th that shit better glow in the dark and give me the ability to fly....

That's Dr.Grinspoon for you ... If the 90-100 days from the breeder's description is true, I could be just over 2 months away from harvest right now!! I didnt have luck the first time with barney's farm so I sure hope it's going to come out 20x nicer than Tangerine Dream.......

ha......as of 2012 there are zero dispensaries in this tri-state area.....so it's STILL 100% a black market affair over here unfortunately.......price = demand, and he gets it all day.....no one wants to grow DR. grinspoon for profit/has no commercial appeal......so this grower has found a niche! and gets paid for it.......I'm one of the assholes that spends $6.50 on a large latte at the coffee house/ when I can do it at home for less than a buck........For most of the smokers/growers It's too much of a hassle to mess with her...........Yes her smoke is a very balanced high/unique!! Ask Endo when she's all done/cured if he would pay the price.......

Here there are dispensaries every where, like liquor stores. Prices are slowly going back up. It was horrible for a while. There was no money in it. Last year the best top shelf was going for 2,000 for 1 lbs. Now its around 3000. Thats cause every dispensary was shut down for 5 days. Until one of them won in appeals court. Here counties and cities have the right to ban dispensaries. There are not any in nor cal but they are all over so cal. It seems the more dispensaries there are, the lower the price is

Psu I has a frap and a sandwich from starbucks the other day. I did have a gift card though.

I chopped half of one Agent Orange tonight, the other half needs a bit more time (the branch that I harvested tonight had more light) Also I am a bit worry about the bud rot I found the other day on a different plant so I am definitely not going to let any big buds go longer than they need to go for this run.

Some hash I made with the seeded K-train, this is the nicer stuff, I got quite a bit more (I spilled a bunch too...) on a couple different plates, it's greener though. It looks pretty good considering I made it with no tools other than a 5 gallon bucket and a kitchen strainer.

AAAAAAAAAH FUCK ... another fuck up !!

I left the Kessil turned on all night in room2, (long story short, this light wasnt on a timer anymore and I was just turning it on and off manually...) I dont want to change the light cycle because I want room2 to run in the day time...

So the plants will have 36 hours of light halfway through budding ... way to go myself.

Don't beat yourself up to bad we have all made mistakes like that one way or another, try not turning lights on when mid way through budding, that's a real pisser. By the way good lookin hash let us know how it smokes.

You sure have shown that all LED lighting can sure can match mh or hps lighting. You have done a good job from all your pictures. Now i want to upgrade my lighting, heat has always been a issue for me during the summer. Thanks for sharing your setup with us..

Checkout this plant, she is seeded with Medicine plant pollinated with spacebomb :weed: the colours are not from the light, she is truly showing some nice deep purple very early on in flowering.I think the combination of Kessil/Af600 are responsible for this, I think I have seen this happening when the buds are right in the middle of the AF600 without the kessil or in the way of kessil/af600 combo. I have not seen it with the kessil alone but it seems to happen more when the kessil is in the mix. Sorry for ramlbing here.

hope it gets frostier!! This breeder won some big hash competition so I thought their strain would be very frosty (House of the great gardener?) Its early still and the buds are huge .. also the soil was too hot for them.

Damm lol you are showing the rest off us up !!!!!! enjoy all that bud bruv, sweet colas ,its not the fact that you are using leds that surprise me..... we both know they work.... its the bloody super soil man lol once you have that dialed in ,its such an easy way to grow I bet your shit tastes the best .........man ! fuck ! I wish I was In Canada :)
