Female never started to flower

my buddy gave me a seed he had found in a gram of nug...he didnt know the strain he just said it was some killa shit...so i planted the seed late April...i had her indoors in veg the whole of May and half of June.as u may imagine she got pretty tall...i wanted a big tree that is why i left her in veg for so long.
as soon as i was happy with her stature i put her outside so she can begin flowering with other bagseed and some clones...all the other ladies began to flower except for her...i even harvested a clone..and the others are almost ready.but she just keeps getting taller and taller...she is almost past 6ft....she never produced and bud...just pistals....anyone have some insight to why this might be happening

are ur other clones outdoors also? maybe the plant outdoors isnt getting 12 hours daylight nd 12 hours sunlight =)

If all u did was go from inside to outside and expected instant flowering then that could be why. The summer season is still providing ample light and some types of cannibus are particular to exactly how much light makes them trigger to flower. The only thing I can say is unless you are able to provide a room inside for an exact 12/12 cycle, just let it run its course outside.

i have it in a 4 gallon pot...i was thinking of putting her in the ground

well my fellow stoners she is well into week 2 of flowering now...she just keeps getting bigger
