feed before transplanting?

Greetings all,
First timer here looking for advice (as if that's new) before I transplant my babies. I want like to know if I should feed nutrients to the girls prior to transplanting or when they're in their new pots. I'm going from solo cups to 5 gal. pots and this will be the first nute feeding with FF big bloom. The girls are 18 days old and my soil is 2 parts FFOF and 1 part FFLW. I use distilled water and their last was 2 days ago. They're growing fast and I will probably move them in the next few days. Any help is greatly needed and appreciated.
Good smoke to all!

if moving them to fresh ff soil, nutrients aren't needed, and to avoid future problems, ditch the distilled water. you should also look into organic tea, soil should be kept alive, you feed the soil, it feeds the plants. Bottled nutes work best in soiless mediums

I have stump tea that I was going to use a 1/4 tsp dry in the hole when I transplant. So it sounds like that was a good idea and just hold off on the nutes. Always good to have options, thanks.

I've been hearing about the stress of multiple moves and this being my first I'm just trying to minimize all risk.
fill your pot with soil, water, let drain good. dig out hole the size of old pot, water old pot. put hand over pot, turn upside down, slide whole thing out, drop into hole and cover with surrounding dirt, no to low stress. For even better results, pull off bottom shoots and bury them, a old gardeners trick I learned from Rm3

do not feed them ...the ff soil will feed them for upto a month. it would be way better to go to a qt pot, then 5 gal
Hi Diabolical,
Can you let me know the upside of moving to a 1 gal opposed to 5 gal? Other than over watering which is possible for a new jack, I'm just trying to understand. Thanks for your time!
