Favorite Grow Shop in the Valley

i find they have the most knowledgeable staff. also some of the people that work at SOG really know their shit. some just are there to unload pallets of FFOF. i usually go to the best deal because i do all my research prior to buying a product. i find SOG has the best prices on nutrients especially with added discounts and such. equipment is a little harder. all the big established stores will rape you on lights, fans, etc. if you go to the smaller shops they are usually willing to deal. i bought a 600 hps for the same price i saw online because i asked the guy if he would price match and he said yeah. there are also certain products that can only be found with certain stores. homegrown for instance is the main dealer of hydrofarm equipment and canna nutrients. SOG distributes sunsystem and CAP products and the shop on 24th and thomas is the only place i have found cyco nutrients. above all though i woul stick with one store and show them your loyalty. growers are returning customers who are always buying more nutrients, equippment, soil, etc. the stores know this and want to keep you as a regular. i go to SOG mostly and i have developed relationships with a few guys that worked there. i was in there the other day picking up some hygrozyme or something and i started asking about a new line of nutes coming out from advanced (jungle juice). i was talking to the guy about it for a while. he said they just got some in stock and brought out 3-1 liter bottles of the grow, bloom and micro. in the end i go to pay and he does not charge me for the 3 bottles, says they have not come out yet and they are not in his system so he wont charge me. hooks it up for nothing, i did not even ask or hint at all. this kind of customer service makes me wanna go and buy my next bottle of nutes from them rather than anyone else.
I back this statement up they do hire people knowledgeable in cannabis. Home Grown just got Canna in a few months ago Also Indoor Nature has a guy that knows his shit...Honestly I cant speak bad on any of the grow stores they all have their pros and cons.

Hey Forum, I am curious as to what is your favorite Grow Shop in the Valley based on knowledge, willingness to help and pricing?

I am thinking of adding another 600W HPS and am about out of nutes...

I have been to Sea of Green in Tempe and the grow shop on Southern across from Mesa Community College. I would give them both a B-

Thanks - j
F... Sea of Green... Stay as far as possible... I have been a LOYAL customer for over 3 years... I have spent a nickel or 2 there... I have been recieving special pries for being loyal and now they act like I am a NObody and have to pay extreme prices.... Stay away from these guys.... I recommend going to alot of different shops until you find there is a REASON you want to go back(Super helpful info, prices are low, cool people, what ever your reason) Don't give your hard earned money to an ASs hole that has no knowlegde of growing.

(To Sea Of Green) I will earse this post if you contact me through RIU and explain whats up.... THEY WILL NOT...........

I would recommend the shop I love but then this post would be BIOS....

Yeah they never did me wrong either and seem to remember me when I go in there. I bought expensive equipment there so everytime I am in they try and give me something free they even offer me some of their free compost tea nice guys prices arent much different anywhere else everything is pretty competeive but you can get some good deals from the smaller mom and pops stores. I know indoor nature throws some good deals on light set ups.

special prices from sea of green? i should get special pricing! i started buying from them in 1995 and have been a loyal (mostly) customer ever since. i mostly sent a 3rd party to buy my equipment though. i try to be careful! back in the day, i'd be as nervous walking into a hydro store as i would be walking into a dealer's house. are the cops watching? taking licence plates? where's sherrif joe??? :)

sea of green was around when i needed them and that means something to me!

The tempe location has chill people and I am not talking down on the people... I have bought over$4k worth of equipment in the last 3 months.. and have been a LOYAL customer over 3 years... I tried to bring a digital ballast back for a warranty issue and they pretty much said they can not help me since it was over 90 days since the purchase... I told them it has been a week over 90 days and the ballast was suppose to have a 3 year warranty if I am not mistaken... They were beating around the bush so I said OK I will take care of it on my own... It is a switchable HPS 600watt ballast.... AND the fucker is still sitting in my house not working... They should have contacted the manufacter since they have a relationship with the manufacter... But they are Douche bags and only want your money....

I would recommend a few spots that I go to if you want to know.... I go to this shop that has a owner that grows and really is passionate about what he sells... They will not try to sell you shit because they want you to pay more... They will hook you up with the right stuff for the right situation...

Peace Eazy

I been using the one on Bell ,$2k , a couple of months ago. Has one real knolwedgable guy. Now I go to 75th ave & Peoria to a guy with total mmj experience for over 10 yrs in Cali businesses. I seem to recall that Quantums say the dealer to replace under warranty . . . If I had a brand I was loyal to I would purchase a spare while waiting. Ive seen the Quantum digi 600 for under $160, maybe less recently.

I go to both of them have spent a lot more money at the Bell rd store in Phx. Man that is shitty they didnt call the manufacturer, why didnt you call and talk to a manager and see what he can do? I know I was messing around with my Titan controller when I first bought it and had to manually recalibrate it and I called them but they took too long to get back to so I called Martty at Titan myself and problem fixed, but yeah dude they should have called the manufacturer for you. Hydro Depot on Thunderturd is a Titan dealer FYI

That dude Marty from Titan is the shit. He basically built all the controllers and hes hella helpful you can call him and leave a message and he will get back to you before the days end. Pretty good customer service from a guy in Cali.

I have also talked with Marty & agree ! He definetly will spend the time discussing & treat you VERY well. Had some questions on my Helios 1 four light timer. Just trying to show a possible closer dealer.
