HOW ARE THESE SO EXPENSIVE WTF
i dont think like 30-40$ is that expensive for something thats basically a one time investment. i guess once you go though a couple of the cheap ones youll realize why we spent the little extra money. buy a cheap one and ill bet you money the teeth will fall out in the first month of crushing up the sticky

Fair enough. It's the $90-100 ones that I was getting all worked up about.

What about ones where the metal teeth are stuck in a glass pane: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E3xvLxWx8to

I mean, if it's as expensive as the other good ones and manufacturer by a reliable company like Sharpstone I don't really expect it to be shitty, but I'm just curious how those hold up.

Based on what you've all said, I'm thinking that just about any name brand $30-40 metal grinder will do the trick nicely.

I've got a 4 piece chromium crusher that i got offline for like $22 bucks a few years ago.

heres a site thats got them pretty cheap http://weedgrinders420.com/chromium-crusher-grinder

its a real sold, well plated metal grinder. not sure what its made out of, i think like chrome plated nickel or something, but its a hell of a lot better than my friends shitty $50 aluminum one that grinds metal into your weed. Its also got a good weight to it. It just feels good in your hand, and mine hasnt lost its glamor after 3 years.

the keif screen is quiet fine on mine though, which gives a real nice fine powdered keif, but definitely takes a bit longer to build up.
