When starting the flush on my super skunk today i noticed one leave was very wilted and around the stock for it was what looked like a very fine sticky web. Instintly i started to panic i couldn't find any evidence of this happening anywhere else on the plant and when i looked closely i couldnt see any visible signs of life. so i hope its not spider mite but it seems strange to be in such a concentrated area of the plant it is about half way down the cola (the infected area) intrestingly there is none of the web stuff on any of the bud it actually looks to have avoided it also not on spread to my 8 ball kush plant so just need somebody with experiance to help me make a judgement call... sorry theres no photo but in the panic i just tried to clear the bad stuff ::( . BTW i cut the bad leaf off and then just cleaned the area up with FINGER POWER il post the plant just for fun

From your description it sounds like mold on your buds. Spider mites would be damaging the leave by the time they get around to putting webs on the plants and your leaves look pretty good.

Keep the humidity down and watch your temperature fluctuations during your on/off light cycles.

Mentioned powdery mildew yesterday and someone let me have it. As it tearns out my diagnosis based on description, was incorrect. When the bud was opened up it was dark and mushy indicating mold had desicrated the bud from the inside out. Mold changes color as it dies out. Mildew will look like splotches on leaves and stay pretty much white it can be wiped off the leaf with a damp towel, In the bud if there is humidity enough to bloom the mildew It will look like a cottonball that doesn't change color. It just grows larger and remains white. In either case Its a bitch You must lower your humidity to curtail further growth, also minimalizing the spred of spore by turning off fans and removing infected plants is the answer if indeed fungus is present, also the floor area including the top layer of your planter may contain spores as they fall downward, if its fungus you may want to remove it from the grow.
After you have, or think you have removed the fungus, and do a clean to remove any loose fungus spores, then you can get those fans running again, and try to control that humidity maby smaller waterings more frequently, allowing an arid enviroment into your grow area.

Thanks very much chaps, first experiance with mould over and done with. Removed the plant away from the kush straight away thankfully no signs of spread. Luckly the plant was already being flushed when i noticed this so since it was chem free I fired into it with snips rapido style and sectioned the bad buds one had really had it where the cotten ball alike mold was located, it was very dark and just fell to pieces in my hands it had also cottened on to some nearby buds that had to be disgarded and all the ones closest to this incident even with no signs of damage are being kept aside form the ones i have hanging...... So my concern now is that when i try to cure the good bud that it might start to mould or go bad or would there not be enough moisture around to pose a thread as long as i burp at least once every 12hrs?!?!?
