Extreme Flowering Under Pair of Timber 48SAMS

Hmm! One question comes into my mind. Do they really store all the energy in just two hours..? To my understanding they need up to 2h to switch in rest mode w/o far-red EoD? Maybe the storages are not completely filled in 6h and they use just enough to allow the leaves to store new energy? That CO2 claims sounds also plausible. In soil transpiration is reduced by at least a third with added CO2.
I myself use often a 12+2h lighting regime in veg but more to save energy. Such a cycle cause some pre-stretch and the plants are closer to the flowering stage so the switch goes a little faster.
Its maybe worth a try.
A try can not hurt and if you use identical clones you can easily find out what works better. If it is useful, why not?
It would even protect LEDs and driver, lol!

Thanks, i won’t be doing it, at least this time. My grow is already going to have a lot of plugs, and i live in an area that is prone to brown-/black-outs; complicated timing is too much risk for me.

A bud on gc asked me about it, thought i’d run it past you. I’ll pass on your comments.

Yeah, as a hobbiist I can literally try what I want. Yield is not so important like potency. Need only a snack attack every now and then to be happy... ;)

yur gonna get baked son...

Thanks Org + Randomblame,

on 6/2: to think of it, I noticed lateral distribution yesterday on those plants and some early sex characteristics (females) so maybe transition will be fast. 6/2 worked; whether it is faster or slower is undetermined due to lack of controls and sample size (as you already mentioned Org), but the plants were healthy.

"To my understanding they need up to 2h to switch in rest mode w/o far-red EoD?"
I saw no such thing. No reds were used during veg (other than in the lm561c).
here's a pic prior to a massacre scrog (which I will work on today).

Not trying to be an asshat....

On 2hrs/no such thing: how can you tell?

Could be you’re just doing a complicated 24/0....

well, if they needed a rest and it took 2 hours, then they never got a rest. And if they got 24 hrs and never got a rest, then I suppose they don't really need a rest. Anyways...

Nice harvest org! The rack does look like deer antlers. Put them up on the wall!
Yep, not broke don’t fix...

Thanks,

Neighbors stop by and leave with a puzzled look, guess they never have seen a ganja deer....
