bodhi is far from expensive, especially not directly from him or one of the best banks like greatlakesgenetics or jamesbean. i will say that there are some people who hold on to his great gear thats no longer made, and then sell it for ransom prices, or charge too much for f2's.

no couch lock? try space monkey, cobra lips, space cake, or jungle spice. i know the names sound weird, but the beans are fire.
as well as you are doing with the gear you have now, i can only imagine what you could do with some bodhi.
I now finally remember why i didn’t buy Bodhi before, 2 things:

First, and most important to me, i hate wasting time, space, and seeds growing out plants so i can weed out males.

But in this case, based on comments of posters here, if i can find Goji OG and Sunshine Daydream somewhere, i’ll do a cycle with them, in hopes of being convinced the time, space, and cost is worth it.

What’s reinforced this is the second thing, i can’t find any way, short of going to potancestry.com, of finding out the basic characteristics (potency, height, yield, the basic shit) of their strains.

As for suppliers, Grest Lakes Genetics suck in my book! I ordered ssdd and a placeholder strain, sent an email asking them to substitute something close to Goji OG, which was out of stock; and received an email back, explaining “THE RULES” to me in multiple paragraphs of gigantic bold caps!

Apparently us customers can not change our orders, becsuse it screws up their inventory!!!!” Imaginefuckingthat!!! They haven't been able to master the basics of order taking, inventory control, AND CUSTOMER SERVICE.

I’ve dealt with a number of companies in my life, including cannabis seed vendors, and never have been told about “THE RULES” of ordering product, let alone for the bullsh!t reason that the company can’t manage it’s basic business processes.

Jamesbeanco has a Bodhi drop coming in next week or two, they have always treated me well, i’m more than happy to wait till they get these two popular strains.

Good to hear that about jbc. I've been considering getting some of the vashon island genetics from there. Fast finish and pm resistant ftw!

i understand the no fem seeds thing from bodhi, but dont look at it as if it was wasted time, you are essentially teaching yourself about males, because later on down the line when you make your own seeds, youll have reference material to fall back on.

finding out about yield, potency, time & etc. used to mean a lot to me. our environments all different, so when people talk of they did this & they got that, i dont take it as gospel, but it does give a clue about what to expect.

as far as glg is concerned: in my humble opinion they are the best bank with the best deals. the freebies are better than some breeders best gear. @Bad Dawg is head & shoulders above any other rep ive dealt with. there is a bank around the corner from me that i wont even deal with, but others on here have stellar reviews of them. glg comes through time & time again, i never worry about them. customer service has been impeccable for me from them. 70+ packs from them in the last three years. a great crew over there. yes, they might not carry certain gear, but ask to see if theyll stock it, & i am sure youll get a prompt response in regards to it. can they get overwhelmed at times, yes i am sure. did the site have glitches, yes it did. i have no fear shopping with glg. none at all. please try them again.

jamesbean has my respect completely. i have secured things from there with ease. great crew over there also.

edit: ive even had glg return chips to me...

Thanks for your comments, people should hear the other side, too.

My perspective in previous post remains the same.

@Randomblame, have you run 11-12 wk strains using lightsout far red? If so, for those run close to 12 hours lightsout, how many days early have they ripened?

All you were sent was the information that is listed under "Payment and order info".Copied and pasted.
It is wrote in big letters so people will read it. It starts out "Please read before you place a order."
And there is no such thing as a "placeholder strain".
While you are using that "Place holder strain",you are stopping some one else from having it.
And you are holding my cash in your unpaid order, while you decide if you want it or not.
All I asked you to do is make your decision before you order. That to me does not sound unfair.
And Do these other sites have a bodhi freebie list with 20 plus strains you get to pick from?
And of coarse the Bad Dawg freebies and all the other great freebies.
As I told you earlier,Have a nice day. DB

Btw, i don’t agree with your characterization of what happened.

First, you ignored completely my main point about “The Rules” (your words), which are not customer focused, but an excuse for your poor business processes, which you, yourself, described.

Second, let’s get the timeline correct:
I placed my order during the evening of 10/02 (per your order confirmation 10/2 at 9:13:08pm); at that time i could not contact your company directly to discuss my “placeholder strain” (mother’s milk).

I contacted you the next day via your “contact us” form, telling you what the issue was, and asking you to substitute a strain similar to Goji OG for mother's milk. (Are you telling me that someone would have ordered mother’s milk and you lost a sale of mother’s milk during this period? Gimme a f’ing break!)

The following day (today) you sent me “The Rules”, at 7am today i replied, clearly stating that you should cancel my order and close my account. (Yet you say i am holding your cash, because i haven’t canceled my order? Really?! WTF?).

Third, i couldn’t give a crusty one about what your freebies are! I didn’t go to your site for them, i went to your site to learn about Bodhi on a fellow riu member’s recommendation, and there is nary a word describing more than 4 or 5 of the countless Bodhi strains you carry.

To be really effing clear, i don’t do business with vendors who tell their customers that they can’t change their order because the vendor can’t figure out how to keep their inventory straight. And, then do so, by cutting & pasting “The Rules” as a substitute for customer service! Finally, i don’t do business with vendors who come on my grow journal and mischaracterize what happened.

You want to try an apology?

The facts are:

1. You came here and lied!

2. Great seed sources don’t have bs “The Rules” and customer service like you!

I once had an amnesia I harvested at day 85 with far-red but it was a 4000°k grow and I've increase the daylength from bloom week 3 to end of week 9 to 13,5/10,5h and from week 10 back to 12/12h. So there was not really a time saving because timings was optimized to max. yield.
With a 12/12h regime one could save maybe up to ten days with 12+ week strains but I've not tried it yet. I'm using far-red for around two years now and do only 2-3 runs per anno. I would rather do more but my situation does not allow that.
The 3 meanined SSH, BlueDream und ColumbianGold are the first >90% sativas and once I flower them I'll use a 11,5/12,5h cycle to keep it as short as possible. But it takes at least 4 more weeks until the girls are ready for that.

Day 45 of ?84?: Both “diesels” and front haze having big second flush of pistils, can hardly notice red/drying 1st flush that was main feature several days ago. Back haze (right) lagging on 2nd flush.

Looks to me like there are 2 diff phenos of each strain. Front “diesel” (left) growing strong, but with small really hard nugs; back one gigantic, somewhat softer buds. Front, haze is more compact, with much larger, harder buds; back haze lanky, many more good-sized but smaller and softer buds.

Noticeably darker green on front, extremely defol'd plants; likely due to younger average age of leaves, now in high photosynthesis mode. Back plants have many more older leaves, which are likely dropping off in photosynthetic capacity.

Added 2mL/gal and 1 mL/gal cal-mag to back “diesel” and haze, respectively. Ppfd ~1050, all other controlled variables in range.

Thinking about restarting uva-b in next few days.
