So I've encountered many people asking "How do I give rep?" or "Where did the scales go?" or "What is rep, and how do I give it?".
The following is a brief explanation of how to give rep, and I advise everyone to "Copy and Paste" it into there notepad to further help new members in the near future, or until the new "Use Forum Default" skin is fixed.
click "My Rollitup" (top left of every page)
scroll down, and on the left side you'll see "Edit Options" (located in Your Control Panel on the left of your screen)
click "Edit Options"
scroll all the way down
change "Forum Skin" to anything other than "Use Forum Default" ("Use Forum Default" will not allow you to give rep as of now)
click "Save Changes"
You are now ready to give rep to those deserving.
Use +rep when you have been helped out by fellow RIU members
+rep can be given by clicking the small pair of scales (or +sign depending on the skin being used) located in the top right corner of every single post of every single thread. Located just to the right of the post number.
Also, remember to sign your name, so everyone knows what a nice person you are.
This is a thread to help out all of the confused, and I'm hoping that our busy Admins are currently working on the problem since I myself love the new skin.
