experience with dual arc bulbs?

I will say that selling them was hell , 90 % or better were returned within 90 days due to bulb failure and often people thought the initial problems were ballast related , so I had to check and test many ballasts as a result of these bulbs .

I never had the inclination to burn one of these as I already have both Halides and Sodiums running side by side and its much more cost efficient in the long run as my bulbs burn for 6 months min with no problems and then they are handed over to those in less fortunate situations as they can use them for another 6 months with a warranty .

been running Hortillux dual arch for 3 years now and haven't looked back since making the switch...........I'm actually trying vegging a group of 9 plants with one right now.......not loving it for that I will say. I just had to know for myself if they'd do the job as well as they do for flower. I have found that I can switch to 12/12 a little faster than before and get great bud sites and inter-nodal spacing with explosive growth rates running the same gear under them as straight HPS lamps did for me.

I used them for awhile, never had any issues with them. I didn't see the improvements bowlful did but I wasn't taking measurements just a casual look. The best thing about them for me was the light they put out made it easier to see the plants. Instead of spending so much on the bulbs I just bought a pair of Method 7s and went back to HPS.
