Only cut 5 plants today, 9 more on Sunday and the last 9 on Monday. Funny- I scraped some scissor hash, the size of grain of rice- and it put me out for a 1/2 hour in-between cutting plants. It wasn't even nap time. LOL

My only comments right now.....1) not a stricky resin, more greasy if you know what i mean, 2) not much "small and/or fluffy buds- even low down on the plants the buds are nicely chunky, 3) I would have thought the hash I smoked would have given a "heady" buzz, being mostly sativa. I felt it first in the head, but the body slam soon followed. I'm guessing the well done resin has sucked most of the head out of the buzz and 4) Purely a guess- yield looks good but not near my highest amounts.

Here's another bud, a few days into drying. If this isn't at least 30% THC, then I don't know what could possibly be. Stinky shit too, I've warned everyone to be careful. Great, long lasting smoke which leans to the sativa side but I still feel some indica in there too. If you can grab this, I highly recommend it. Also, regarding weight- my previous observations may have been a bit early. Without question the heaviest yielding strain I've ever done. It should be close to between 4.5-5 lbs from the 2 lights. The main different being the amount of LARGE cola's as most of the plants put off 2 large main center cola's, even without topping. Give me a week and I'll have final weights and a detailed smoke report.

So, 8 days into drying- everything has been put in tupperware for an open and close curing period. Final weight was 63 oz., a bit disappointing overall and didn't meet my weight expecttions. Early on in cutting, I didn't think weight would be "best ever", then a few days later I thought it might be, now it's obvious it's quite good- just not record breaking. If I would have finished flowering the bottom plant stuff, at least 2 more weeks- you could have picked up another 7-8 oz maybe but I don't have that luxury.

I want more time to work on a smoke report, as it really hasn't been dry enough to burn great. Most of my smoking has been vaped. Figure another week for my final comments, etc.

My 24 Ethos "Member Berries" have been started (paper towel method) and the room has been worked on. A new thread will be started shortly. I installed a new exhaust fan and went with a 10 incher instead of the 8 incher so it's more effective in the heat of the summer. I have it hooked up to a power dimmer, so I can adjust it easily. I also bought new starters and bulbs for my Big Blue Ionizer. The room was cleaned, sprayed down for all bugs and insects, and the pots were washed, sprayed and cleaned. Room HPS bulbs will be replaced at the start of flowering.

Two pic's taken outside today............

Correction- jusdt a short note to say when I weighed everything out- I only weighed stuff in tupperware and forgot a bout 3 oz. still on a drying screen in another room. So, final weight jumps to 66 oz.- not in my top 3 but now in my top 5. But quality is super high throughout.

I also see that Ethos is offering a 100 free packs to anyone who wins a cup with their Inzane in the Membrane, which tells me they think that strain is stronger than the Zsweet Inzanity (but I know it's harder to grow as it grows taller and more branchy).

Smoke report and final entry here........

This is a strain that leans heavily to the Gorilla Glue #4, even though it's a 3 way hybrid with Durban Poison and Rainmaker too- 2 other strains Ethos is growing and using in it's hybrids. The smell is straight on GG#4, but the cola's range wildly from kush-like to sativa fox-tails and everything in between. Bag appeal is A+ no doubt, and it's the first thing everyone comments on. Weight is solidly high, but not record breaking for sure. And it has a greasy, slimey resin- not sticky like most strains.

Describing the buzz is more difficult. It's a creeper, and it takes around 10 minutes after smoking to really feel the effects. It's a complex high, with sativa effects early on and the indica body high (relaxing) comes on after an hour or two. It's not a slam in the face sativa, but does provide a lift and energy, while your head feels like it's in a vice, being squeezed at the temples from both sides. It really distorts time too, which i like- I smoke it and after what seems to be an hour or two later, actually is 15 minutes. I love when that happens.

It's very long lasting, which I attribute to the high THC levels, probably around 28%-30% I'm guessing. 3-4 hours after smoking, you still feel it and it doesn't take much to get the job done. I did find 4 seeds in 1 bud, but never saw a male flower- even after chopping everything.

So, another solid Ethos grow for me and well worth a grow for it's weight and high THC level alone. I like my sativa's to be a bit more fruity or spicey or hazey tasting (I guess what I'm saying I like sativa's to be more flavorfull)........this has none of those. It tastes like a deep and dank indica and smokes like a kush. But effects are probably around 70% sativa, at least the 1st few hours. It's only been drying for around 14 days, so it's surely not cured properly yet, and that's going to take a few more weeks- but I think I've nailed the important points.

Lastly, please don't think I'm disappointed in any way. I'm not. I think I just expected it to be a bit different than it is. If you are searching for a strain, I would grow their Citral Glue (which i loved) before this one, but others may feel 100% opposite. On to Member Berry........and as always, thanks for following along- I'm sure Ethos appreciates it. LOL

Good grow and I appreciate all the pics being outside rather than some crap with a flash, making it look better than it is kinda thing. I'd love to trim a little tighter for you but I'm just like that haha! Thanks for the grow log, I have 6 of these going atm... as well as the Headband, Forum cut s1, Citral Glue, Inzane in the membrane, Sour OG Cheese and snowball s1 so we'll see, maybe Ill post a grow log like you have towards the end.

Thanks again man!

Any pics of your Citral Glue? Also did you feel the Citral glue was a 30% er?

There is a grow report I did of the Citral Glue on RIU but I shut the posting down a bit early as people within my group were having some legal issues and for me, better safe than sorry. Look for it.

No I don't think Citral Glue hit 30% but it's not all about THC levels. My guess would have been 26% maybe. The Citral Glue yielded about the same, smoked and tasted better, the high was more enjoyable and was done just a bit earlier. There are some the same genetics in both of them too. Again, it's just my preference- and I'm sure others would feel differently about it. I still smoke it regularly.

Great report SSHZ, I've just been looking at this strain so the info is excellent .I get the feeling that you look for the same things in genetics as me, particularly as I'm moving more towards quality + yield whereas I used to just look for quality, then run out of smoke between runs . I think you can have both really.

What have been your favourite strains to grow? I know you put this in your top five, what else is in there?

I am thinking about running the
Inzane in the Membrane strain from Ethos, and was just wondering, do you run from seed to flower, or do you run clones? And what is the phenotype variation with the Ethos seeds, is it quite broad or do most beans have a fairly consistent gene expression?

SSHZ

I always run from seeds these days.........been years since I bothered with clones. 4 crops a year, 4 different strains.

On each Ethos seed pack, on the back, they list Plant Phenotype variation. That will tell you if you can expect a lot of pheno's. I see that the Member Berry I'm doing now is low, rated 30/100. The info is on SeedsHereNow. Each strain is different, at least they give you some details.

The Inzane Membrane is taller and branchier than the Zsweet Inzanity. It will need to be pinched to control height. I see that Ethos is offering 100 seed packs to anyone who wins a Cup with it. It's already been restock, and initially sold out very quickly. I'll get around to growing this one early next year I think.

Since this thread continues on, I have been smoking or vaping the Zsweet Inzanity daily.........boy it's great. Everyone who has tried it has either said "wow" or "excellent". If I smoke it in the afternoon, I'm a total wreck. The day is finished basically. At night, it may be even better.

Thanks man I grow medically for myself and I really like the THC content of these Ethos strains, super interested to try one.

I've been looking at Ethos genetics for myself...a little overwhelmed on which strain to go with. Wanting something more indica heavy thats not going to stretch too tall
