Top pic show the largest main cola in the room, 2nd and 3rd show how done some of the buds are and the last pic shows some of the massive colas. Yield will be massive and it looks like an easy trim. I'll reserve comment on the THC as it's a bit early to judge but if the smell is any indication, it's very high. Sorry about the bad pic's but wanted to give you some idea what it looks like.

Thanks for the advice! Will give it plenty of thought while 1St is finishing bloom. Your pics are mouthwatering, and all the more so, as the ladies are cloaked in darkness. Very atmospheric!! FYI sure you don't need any help but the growdiaries web site has a Merry berry grow week 6 in veg.
Cheers D

I like to alternate doing a sativa vs. indica for variety..........the Member Berry is very "Citrus"like, with loads of orange and tang smell and flavors. It seemed like a good choice. I changed from the Colin OG in the last minute for a couple of reasons.

Skid- I've seen some good M.B. reviews on Instagram, I'll check out his grow.

Budies- Snowball didn't yield enough for me, but it looked good otherwise. Just keep your ppm down low, your cal/mag high and manage the heat in the tent, and you'll be fine. They are actually quite easy to grow, I haven't added many of the additives this time like I normally do. No hermies anywhere too, which is always nice.

Great! After these 2 strains by Ethos are dun I'll look for something else by them... I got 3 free GG#4 from ethos with the Zsweet Inzanity, but I dono if i'll pop them as GG4 is too easy to get incredible cuts of.

Go back and look at my Citral Glue grow.........a great strain! Another great yielder, and very high quality. The Citral Glue the G.G. #4 and Citral Skunk in it, and both are also in the Zsweet Inzanity but with Durban Poison and Mandarin Sunset added in too.

Write up tonight, new pic's up Monday. My pictures never seem to do the room justice- off an iPad so not surprised. but the room looks great. Not a hermie in site, everything has stayed green except the 1 plant center back. Another couple of days and I'll really cut back the fertilizer, stop the Cal/Mag, etc. The smell is REALLY bad, a 9/10 on the smell scale. I'm going to have to fumigate the house when I'm done. Even the furniture and clothing in the house smells of it. The wife is livid.

I see some plants a week behind- or are some ahead- so I'm figuring on havesting maybe 6 plants at 9 weeks, most of the others at 10 weeks and I already set up a room for the plants that aren't done then- maybe 1 or 2 or 3.

I've been reading on instagram (or is it Twitter) people are mentioning chocolate when they smoke this weed. Not sure if it's the taste or the dried smell (or both) though. Loved my chocolate stuff I've grown in the past....yummy. Brings me back to the 70's..........

Received my next seeds from SeedHereNow.com, Ethos Member Berry- back to an indica for variety. People say it's pure orange and a solid yielder. Seeds arrived in 2 days. I have a 20% discount code if anyone wants it, pay by check or money order and get another 10% off. After shipping, I basically paid $75 a pack (4), a great deal for this quality. I'll be starting these 1st week of July.

I'm watering every 2 days but I expect that to go to every 3 days as they finish up. Slower water uptake is always a good plants are finishing up. I also thinking about cutting the lights back to 75% the last week. I think it helps finish things up too. Lastly, my 10 inch exhaust fan is making noises like it's close to failing. I think the ball bearings are dirty/dusty cause I don't have a dust cover on it. N ew one cost me $90 (iPower). Back Monday with room and bud pic's. Oh yeah, Monday will have completed 8 weeks flowering.

It broke your fan, Don't underplay it! At this rate you needed a Hazmat suit and titanium sheers to trim :). Glad its going to plan. Can't wait for the pics

2+ year old fan probably crapping out since pro mix is dusty and the fan has no pre-filter on it. I could take it all apart, oil and lube it up, etc. but I bought a higher cfm one anyway so I'll keep the old one as a back up in case. It's working but I hear metal grinding (bearings) when it starts and stops so it's not going to make it long term. Thinking of dehydrating a well done but small bud today, I'll report back tomorrow when the pic's are posted tomorrow.

Well, interesting morning. The exhaust fan became so loud I could here it all the way upstairs in my bedroom. Had to turn it off, so room heat could become an issue. I turned down the lights 25% and added another inroom fan. Not ideal and I don't think it will be much of an issue, except I also had to turn off my Big Blue air cleaner cause it's connected to the same exhaust system- so smell could be an issue. The new fan won't be here til next Monday.

I took a few pic's, they are below. I did try a small piece last night, very potent and long lasting. But the "high" isn't fully developed yet, anotherwords it's still too early. Trichomes are still clear, so it was fully expected. I actually don't remember much after smoking a bowl (my first in a few weeks), so that's a good sign! Today is week 8, 2 weeks to go.

I do wonder what it will look like cured. I like a good deal of Ethos stuff (by pics) but it seems like he has a lot of fox tailing. Room looks great, thx for updates.

Many sativa strains tend to foxtail anyway, and lamp heat will cause it too. I'm not really seeing much, if any foxtailing in this room. I'm done giving the plants any Nitrogen, so a slow yellowing of the room will start taking over. Very noticeable stink once the Big Blue stopped running- and my outer basement area is much warmer without the heat exhaust too. Not much I can do at this point. I was planning on reducing light strength anyway in the coming week or so, so that won't have much impact overall. It will be a long next two weeks though.......

So the room continues to finish......down to 1500 watts lighting with manageable heat since the exhaust fan is done. I don't want a fire, and another day or two being on could have lead to that. Today is day 58 in flowering. I got out my trusty magnifying scope and saw 7 plants that are basically done. Trichomes are 98% cloudy, maybe 2% amber- nothing clear left on these plants. I could harvest today and would feel good about it- but I would really like to wait til Monday if possible as I have a busy weekend with fathers day, a visit from my distant brother, etc.- but not sure I can or will. I always go back to a favorite saying from Soma- "when you think the plant is done, wait another week". Well, alrighty then. But if the trichomes go to 10% amber before then, that's it- i'm chopping.

The rest of the room has a bit to go, and will probably need another 12-16 days to finish off like these early ones. If I can get those 7 plants done and out of the room, I'll be able to reach the bad fan and install the new one, which will be here Monday- that will then enable me to boost the lighting again for the last week or so. This lower light level will mimic the fall sun, and the plants should start finishing even faster anyway.

So, for you guys growing these or about to- figure 25% of the plants are done by week 9, and the rest a week or so later. Since the iPad is doing such a lousy job of taking pic's, I'll be borrowing a camera down the road- for a better documentation. As everyone knows, it's always an exciting time as a crop finally finishes up- 100 days is a long time to wait!.

Today (Monday) is 9 weeks in flowering........I fully expected to start chopping some of the more well done plants but have decided to hold off a bit. First off, the plants continue to look better and better- and I'm still not seeing any amber in the trichomes. The plants just continue to swell and harden up, while packing the resin on. The plan now is to start cutting on Sat, which will be day 68 and do 8 plants a day finishing up at day 70. The rest of the plants are also finishing and catching up to the early plants. If their high is as good as the plants look, it's an absolute winner. I think 30+% THC is totally reachable, and the smell is top notch. Yield does look great, lots of big colas but still not sure it's an all-time best. Not long now..........

Sounds great, hope we get some quality pics!

I just bought from Ethos:

Forum cut s1
Ethos Headband
Citral Glue - dono how I feel about this one, I don't like the idea of growing Glue because EVERYONE grows a GG4.
Snowball s1
Cresend0

Zsweet Inzanity, Inzane In The Membrane and Cheese OG all from Ethos are up and growing atm.

I've read forum reports on hermies from the Forum Cut, so you'll need to keep a close eye on those. I have a documented 24 plant grow of Citral Glue on RIU, a great strain overall. I just read a great report on Cresendo, and Snowball looks good but can't find much about it other than it's not a great yielder. And I know nothing about their Headband.

I could have chosen between the Zsweet and the Inzane Membrane and chose the Zsweet because it's NOT AS TALL as the Membrane strain- better figure on pinching it at some point. But the THC is supposedly higher in the Membrane. The Zsweet was a bit unmanageable, I can only imagine how the Membrane will be. LOL

Thanks for the heads up on the Forum cut, I wanted it for the name and the fact that it's just not THAT common. I won't grow a GG$ because it's so common, same with blue dream and a good few others. Thing is if you can get a 30% anything of a more common name then it's worth having imo. In the FC s1 case I feel like if I get a super purple pheno with high end THC and all that, then even smaller yields just don't matter as it will be an easy sell (legally).

I grow in a scrog so with my LED lights so I have lots of room to work with.

I found your grow on Citral Glue and you said you suspended the grow?

Actually, I just suspended posting here if memory serves me right. There were some things happening in my circle of friends, and I figured I'd lay low for a while. My people check all my grows here on RIU, and I wanted everyone to think I shut down. I think I got 69 oz., of top shelf stuff- it's still my go to smoke even today. I just love it. Still gets be blasted. The Zsweet Inzanity looks even better IMO, and definitely has more resin on the buds. I did post some finished pic's of it somewhere, just can't remember where but I'll look for it. Maybe THCFarmer or ICMag.........

This will be my last post until everything is cut and drying........but a few comments first. Back on Tuesday.

1. I'm 62, and have been growing since I was 28. Sometimes on a large scale (875 plants), other times 24 plants give or take. Last year some friends and I started writing down all the strains we could remember I've grown over the years, we stopped when we reached 100. There were probably 25-35 more we missed. My point is I've been around the block a few times- and appearance wise, this is the nicest looking strain I've ever grown. I can't comment on the final smoke or taste and that will come later. But for now, simply amazing. FUCKING amazing actually.

2. There are lots of pheno's in the room. But that's to be expected as there's lots of different genetics in their makeup: Durban Poison, Gorilla Glue #4, Mandarin Sunset, Citral Sunset. And in each of those there's a ton more. So it's to be expected. Tall and short, flat top and spear buds, some done at 9 weeks and others at 10 weeks, some of the plants foxtail out at the end, branchy plants vs. not branchy, etc., etc. Who cares, it all looks great.

3. Trichomes......I've spent a lot of time looking at these plants and have many good views of tric's up and down the plants. They are just refusing to turn amber (reddish)........this is typical on many sativa's- they just won't turn darker no matter how long they flower. The buds are covered in cloudy trichomes, thick and large. I've resisted cutting some of the plants I thought were done and it ended up being the right thing to do. These specific plants also continue to look better and better. I'm going to start cutting on Sunday, day 69 and will finish on Monday day 70, Ethos's recommended finish date.

4. I'm not really smoking much these days, just doing thc capsules for health reasons. I've tried smoking one small bud, quick dried in a food dehydrator 2 nights ago. The high was very long lasting- hours and hours. I still felt it the next morning. I don't think the high was developed yet- it was kind of spacey and dreamy. This will change as the as the plants will have another 7 days to grow and finish up with a proper drying and curing process. The taste came thru even with the quick dry, which is a good sign.

I refuse to put up bad pic's that don't due the room justice.....I'm stilling working on getting a camera.

Back on in 5 days.
