Essential Mother Plant Question

So I am wondering if it is ok to take clones from mother plants that have been stressed.... They have undergone some fert problems but I have been nursing them back to health. They are looking better each day. I am wondering if the clones would be affected genetically by any environment stress? Once they get back to full strength and get some new grow tips I would like to clone them.... but would the clones be genetically altered? Thanks for the help...

genetics are genetics fella if you don't stress the clones they'll be mirror images of the mother!

When you cut a branch to clone it, the branch is 100% stressed while takes every bit of energy she have to reproduce roots to eat again... that's why the leafs turn yellow ect... they consume their energy to survive while roots are not present. So YES you can take cutting out of this mother, but i suggest you wait couple more days to let her recover until she is healthy again.
