will have 3 seedlings going soon to later be 3 mother plants to keep secure in a separate tent

the idea is to take roughly 21 clones 7 from each and have a perpetual set up for a time.

but im out of smoke and would like to get some flowers going. generally 6-8 weeks plus for mothers is my understanding and dependent on your light and genetic and overall health of the plant. wondering what is the absolute minimum to snip potentially 2 clones from each so 6 clones total and veg them along with the mothers for 4-5 more weeks then flip and move the mothers out id imagine the mothers recover like nothing in terms of nodes is there a specific reason why a clone wont form or survive if cut to the third node instead of the 5th

I"ve topped seedlings before with only a few nodes and cloned the top with no problem.

I also used to run a perpetual grow for about 10 years. I took clones every 2-3 weeks off of small mother plants that I kept in my veg tray with the clones in 6 inch pots. I would keep a mother plant for 6-9 months cutting clones every few weeks, then replace it with a new clone from the previous round if the mother plant started to look tired or wasn't growing back as fast as it should. I had some strains I kept alive and healthy like that for 5-6 years until I had to move.
