i like the 600s more then the 1000 watters but it would be less room with only 2 lights. and by the success of your first grow i dont think anyone would think your were new to growing, but i understand at least your honest after a first grow like that alot of growers would claim to be pros. i to still have alot to learn but that is all on hold now cuz i cant grow or smoke
Yeah man, I here and read about 600's v's 1000's and that would be the only reason i would go to 1000's would be saving space.

And thanks mate i'll take the compliment you saying " I don't think anyone would think you were new to growing " I did treat it as a science lol

Shame its on hold for ya bro. I wont probe to ask why. All the best tho and again your always welcome to pop by and post if ya like.

Update on the clones....

Ok so i have been checking my clones on a regular basis ( every hour on the hour ) lol And a few of them are showing good signs of root formation. So I think in 2-3 more days most should have rooted out the plugs. When this happens i will document it on here with pictures and show you what containers i will be potting them in to, including the medium i'm using and amounts of each.

Im then going to start feeding them with CANNA start Nutrition at 1/4 strength and building this up to full strength within a week.

So first pics of the clones coming soon.

When the clones are ready im also going to give the 7 mothers another haircut and take between 150 - 250 clones from them before i flower them. Im going to leave time for them all to recover and this will give me chance to transplant the clones into there final pots.

I think im definatly going to go down the path of SOG with the clones and have 4 to a pot. I know what you all thinking ( But Dan the roots will be fighting each other ) Ahhhh well i have thought about this and i will be using plastic sheets in a cross section in the pots so that the roots don't meet. Again there will be pics for you on this if you can't understand me....

I take it you mean the nutrition. I think it was around £850 for all the nutes and bits and bobs.

I had lots of my equipment from my first grow. But i think the total for this grow so far is around £1500. But i have purchased some real good new equipment. i.e Hort Tent, cool tubes, cloning equipment, electric regulator, etc etc. But if i were to include all of my first grow equipment and everything for this i think it would stand me at around £4500.

Update.

So as my clones should be ready this weekend I was considering what to do with the 7 mothers i have.

I think because the mothers are so big im going to have to SCROG them. Each of the mothers are standing between 1.5' to 2' tall. And to be honest i dont think there will be enough room to grow them to 4' tall in the room including my new raised floor and lighting. So tomorrow im going to start to input a screen in to the room and Scrog the mothers. I will also be adding extra lighting to cover the hole canopy of this Scrog.

I have just tested to see if the mothers can be SCROG'd i.e bending stems. And bingo bango it should be no problem. I have never SCROG'd before but i am doin my research as always.

I have taken pics of the mothers so you can see the size they are at. And a picture of 1 that i tested to see how far she could go for the Scrog.

Its going to be interesting to see what these monster mothers can yield.

Update.

Hi everyone.

Ok so this afternoon i have taken time to build a timber frame and attach the grid for Scrog. And as you can see i have all 7 mothers under the screen. It took some doing, a couple of branches snapped but nothing too bad.

Im hoping within a couple of days the girls should all start to come through straight up. Then, as i have read, i can sort the spread out a bit better.

And in the next couple of weeks im going to take up the loose branches and fan leaves from the bottoms so that the canopy can have full sun....
