Shittt man, one of my bagseeds top bud was probably like 1 week ahead of the lowest branch which might've had like 2 grams on it. it got sort of better over the week, not too much of a noticeable change but im pretty sure i mightve gotten like .5 for running it a little longer. then again like you said, its all about strain.
 
How bushy was that one? The bigger the plant the harder it is to get decent light down there. But again, some plants don't need a lot of light on the bottom to get big buds, like my Grapefruit Krush, but the Sour Lemon og gets wispy buds on the bottom without really good light penetration.
 
i recall i like 8 or 9 branches, it was a small 1 and half foot sativa, but i kept pruning it so the bottom ones had a chance. it was outdoor though so the bottom branches were probably in the shade around like 11 oclock to 2 since i live real close to the equator.

and where do you get your seeds? for the sour lemon og and grapefruit krush?
 
All my recent orders have come from Castle Seeds. I used Attitude for a long time and found Castle's prices cheaper and the service is better. Plus they match competitors prices on everything except TGA seeds. So if you see anything cheaper somewhere else, shoot them an email and they'll match the price.
 
hm, checked out drgreenthumb? they got some bomb strains, the genetics are always legit too. i usually rely on nirvana but i had a huge germing problem for this grow, i did the paper towel method, all my aks and auroras popped but none of the papayas, which i was really excited to grow.

have you gotten any plants that dont look like the original strain out of one of their seeds? i feel like i planted my auroras but they look like really sativa, but a few suspected aks look like sort of heavy indica, but the starting 3 nodes are always sort of fat.

eh, i just dont really like seeds in general really, im just gonna clone what i can and maybe ill get some more when im sick of ak and aurora. but i mightve thrown a papaya in one of those cups hopefully but i doubt it. never know though.
 
Week 8 of Flowering. A lot of branches are tipping over from the bud weight. This is why I never let my plants get this tall. Since switching over to DWC, all my strains have stretched way more in flowering than before, which was unexpected. So my Sour Lemon OG and my Grapefruit Krush got a lot bigger than I wanted, and the result is a fucking mess. At least now, I know. And knowing is half the battle. Also, it looks like this is going to be a 9-10 weeker, probably closer to the 9 side.

Look at my poor Grapefruit Krush on the left. I had to move it to clean and fill the bucket with plain water. The whole damn thing came crashing all over me. My arms were sticky all the way from my wrists to my elbows from putting it back. The top of my head, my forehead and ears were sticky too from it hanging all over me. Good thing it's coming down in a few days.

Looking very nice.....and earlier than breeders stated? That would be great...LOL
 
I smelled pretty nice indeed. And it's always a treat when they finish earlier than expected. All my ET strains have finished either earlier or later than stated by them, except for my Lost Coast og.
 
U haven't ran any of the 76' or Bubba's from them have you? I think I'm gonna get all those. Mastadon,Trinity, Bubba 76....

Mastodon was one of the freebie packs ET sent me. I probably won't run that one or the Bubba 76 since my cousin is growing both of those already. They're still in seedling stage so it will be awhile before I get to try any. The Trinity I've thought about, but I have so much on my plate already plus the Emerald Jack and Super Sour Og seeds from the freebies. I also have Pre 98 bubba, Larry og, and Chemdawg #4 going right now. Gonna go through those and see what I like the most, then chop the ones I like least. So I'll see what I like the most between what I have, pick my favorites and chop the rest. Stupid plant count.
 
Mmmm....pre 98' Bubba. I've smoked it before and have wanted to grow it or a cross of it ever since. Definitely helpful my insomnia ;)

We unfortunately don't have MMJ in my state :( but cultivation of under 250g's is just a misdemeanor with a $175 ticket...so I only grow 2 at a time
 
Ohio is pretty cool with the weed laws. Before the law passed here, I considered moving down there. I'm only about 2-3 hours from the MI/OH border.
 
Yea there not bad at all.....one of the most lenient of the non-medical states. We actually discussed moving up there right after it became legal LOL
Do mmj laws exclude felons? A few of us were wondering that the other day....cuz as a felon its hard to get anything a job, a apartment , a loan.....
Can they not allow you to grow your medicine because of one?

Yes you can. Although you can't be a caregiver if your a drug felon. Any other felon you can be a caregiver (messed up).
 
Arg. Castle raised the price on the Emerald Triangle strains now too. $105.84 for a 10 pk. They're still a lot cheaper than other breeders with similar genetics.
 
Damn.... I looked them up after you had said something about castle and I guess subcool says he's legit. So I know where my next order coming from.
