Muahahaha, thought something like this would occur. He might be negotiating to do the deal at a lower price, or he might walk away and it was just fucking with people, its a billion penalty but that isnt enough to stop it. Some have started to pick apart the financing, it wasn't really that solid.

twitter was doing fine before musk tried a basically hostile take over....now it's stock shares are tumbling because he had a hair up his ass and now it isn't tickling him quite as good as it was the day before...if i was twitter, i'd sue his ass for trillions, just to put a stop to this kind of fucking horseshit. no one man should be able to have this much effect on the market share of any company

it's all theater, it's only purpose is to replace hard negotiations at a table with people facing each other and working things out face to face...because it's practically impossible for any of these people to tell the truth about anything.
i couldn't care less about musk or the board of directors of twitter, if they were all killed tomorrow in a blimp accident, my only reaction would be "really? a blimp?...weird."....
who i do care about are the little people who try to get ahead in this politically hostile world by investing what little spare money they have, who are then wiped out when these fucking assholes decide to perform some kabuki theater. a lot of the little people are investing in funds, where they have little control of the actual investments, so all the actual notice they get is a letter from their investment companies that tell them "sorry, we made a poor choice and now you're penniless. have a nice day, soon to be homeless person."

Musk & his cohort are money-drunk, which is a weird mix of too much power and little to no restraint (exhibit a: the dick-slapping rocket contest) leading to increasingly inappropriate and irrational decisions and actions. Given the number of low-branch swingers in his amalgamated fan clubs, it’s hard to see how Eloi and his playmates can end up accomplishing anything genuinely worthwhile before going off the rails entirely

According to a research group audit, a total of 70.23% of Elon Musk's followers were either FAKE or inactive accounts.
And half of trump's...and half of biden's...would you be surprised if half of Obama's were too? I wouldn't...doesn't mean shit other than Twitter lied...I wonder what else they lied about?

I follow him on Instagram and after a fresh post it says the post is 6 days old. Elon makes me laugh, he is such a dork. The comment about aliens today was awesome. You know some days he lives below the poverty level. Grimes said that and she would know.

There is some dirty laundry in his company that Musk is denying even exists. He's sounding more and more like a Trump mini-me every day.

Why Tesla was kicked out of the S&P 500′s ESG index

  • In a blog post Wednesday, the S&P explained why it kicked Tesla out of its ESG index earlier this month.
  • It said that Tesla’s “lack of a low-carbon strategy” and “codes of business conduct,” along with racism and poor working conditions reported at Tesla’s factory in Fremont, California, affected the score.
  • Tesla CEO Elon Musk has called ESG metrics the “Devil Incarnate.”
While Tesla’s stated mission is to accelerate the world’s transition to sustainable energy, in February this year it settled with the Environmental Protection Agency after years of Clean Air Act violations and neglecting to track its own emissions. Tesla ranked 22nd on last year’s Toxic 100 Air Polluters Index, compiled annually by U-Mass Amherst Political Economy Research Institute — worse than Exxon Mobil, which came in 26th. (The index uses data from 2019, the most recently available.)

Meanwhile, California’s Department of Fair Employment and Housing sued Tesla over anti-Black harassment and discrimination in its Fremont car plant. The agency says it found evidence that Tesla routinely kept Black workers in low-level roles at the company, gave them more physically demanding and dangerous assignments and retaliated against them when they complained about racist slurs.

“While Tesla may be playing its part in taking fuel-powered cars off the road, it has fallen behind its peers when examined through a wider ESG lens,” the S&P spokesperson wrote.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk griped about the index on Wednesday morning on Twitter, where he boasts more than 90 million followers, saying S&P Global Ratings has “lost their integrity.”

he lives that way by choice....which i don't see as a thing to admire, i just see it as another idiosyncrasy from someone who is already entirely made out of idiosyncrasies.... i just can't see him as admirable in any way....he's a venture capitalist who got incredibly fucking lucky. now he's trying to act like the world should consult him about anything important, and that he is somehow going to be the savior of mankind.... as far as i'm concerned, he's Dr. Evil, looking for a volcano to build a base and start turning out laser equipped sharks, or at least that's how seriously i can manage to take him

Havent got the slightest idea what Musks thoughts are or what motivations they are based on. Why can't people stop pretending they can read another persons mind ? Even when their motivations seem plainly apparent they can often be hidden and not readily understandable by others.
