Eliquid using QWISO?

Hi all,
I have about 80 grams from a recent small grow and want to dedicate 10-20 grams to making cannabis eliquid for my Vision Spinner II vaporizer. I tried making eliquid before by using 190 proof everclear and steeping 10+ grams of decarbed buds in it, then double-boil evaporating off the alcohol and mixing in PG/VG, but it did not work at all. I want to do it right this time.

My question is:

If I'm making QWISO for the concentrate, and then work that into e-liquid via double boiler method, do I need to decarboxylate the buds before making the QWISO?

i made a QWET extraction but it was far from liquid. more like a thick goop. i'm curious to how to get it into more of a liquid too. i just let the alcohol evap in a pie plate with a fan blowing across it.

i thought that you only need to decarb if you plan on eating it?

You do not need to decarb first... I would suggest reading some of the threads in this section on it.

That was my understanding, too. Hmm... I am assuming hand held portable vapes get warm enough to decarb oil/thc eliquid on the go?
how would you describe the oil you buy for your vape? is it thin and easy to pour? or thicker like honey?

that shit is expensive to buy in stores and i'd rather make it myself.

Thanks! I read a handful on making QWISO, but I know combustion is the common method for consumption of concentrates in this form.

I also read about making eliquid, but it seems like a lot of those people use BHO or QWISO using already vaped bud, which I'm not using. I wasn't able to find any overlap or instructionals on specifically what I'm trying to do: Turn non-decarb'd QWISO into THC Eliquid. Maybe I missed it. Anywhere specifically I should be looking?

There are probably 5 different ecig threads on here. Just use the search function on here. And yes you can just substitute qwiso for bho in the recipes

Thanks lio.

I'm getting too old to sort through all of the acronyms and zillions of different techniques and discussions on extracts and concentrates. Makes my head spin and my eyes hurt! Back in my day there was just bud and finger hash!!! Maybe my questions are too unconventional, though.

My one and only goal is to make a THC eliquid without using butane for extraction so that I can put it into the tank of my Spinner II and cheef this ish before bed with ease. Would you know if shaking bubble hash with ISO or Everclear (which would you suggest, if either?) and evaporating the alcohol would work for creating a QWISO from bubble hash?

Well I took about a gram of nice bubble hash, mixed it with a shot or so of everclear 190 proof and shook it vigorously in a mason jar. I let it sit for about 5-10 minutes, then poured it into a pyrex tray. I used a second pyrex tray to create a doube-boiler, and heated it up to about 190. The alcohol evaporated off and I scraped the remaining concentrate with a flat razor. I then dispensed about 3 ml or so of storebought vape juice into a small mason jar sitting in a pot of hot water (180ish) to get it to somewhat dissolve in the eliquid. I then loaded it into my Spinner II and took about 6 massive rips. No effects, really. Did I do something wrong? Bad ratios? Bad method?

Evapping the alcohol at 190 is way to high in my opinion. Most of us here use no heat to evap alcohol. As for not feeling effects I would say you made it way too weak. You only put around .1 of concentrate in correct?
As for can you use bubblehash to make alcohol extract. Yes you can. Any other questions just ask most of us are here yo atleast try and help

Thanks Lio! I will try it again, and will let it air evaporate without heat. After I finished scraping the pyrex for the remaining concentrate I realized I really didn't add much to the storebought eliquid--I had about 90% of what I started with left over of the concentrate. Maybe I'm working with too small of quantities, too (mixing a "razorblade-full" of concentrate with 3ml of eliquid isn't exactly easy to stir). Think I would have better results if I combined a full gram of bubble hash with everclear, evaporated off the alcohol, then combined all of it with 10 or so ml of eliquid over low heat?
