if u had a 100 watt hps running for 12 hrs...how much would that make ur electricity bill jump???...

...Check your electric bill, see how much they charge you per Kwh and do the math...

100w at 12 hours = 1.2 KwH

Where I live, electricity costs 6c per Kwh...so it would cost about 7cents a day to run a 100w bulb.

I WAS TRYNNA LOOK INTO AN EASY HPS SET UP SITUATION..BUT THERES NO EASY AND CHEAP WAY OUT OF THIS HUH???....

SOMEONE SENT ME TO THIS WEBSITE BUT..I WOULD HAVE TO RE-WIRE....OR MOPUNT IT TO THE CEILING....HOW ELSE COULD I USE THIS FOR A CLOSET SET-UP

YOU HAVE TO OPEN IT TWICE

Its a $20 light and you want a cheap solution?

I thought this WAS the cheap solution. You take all the other money your saving by not buying an expensive HPS, and you make yourself a reflector, and wire it up.

I got my plants in a 3' by 4' closet. Cheap and effective... 6 lights, 6 light fixtures, custom painted white drywall box w/ mylar, small fan, ph up, ph down, soil moisture meter and soil pH meter, soil, bagseed, spray bottles, timers, ect.. all for under $200. You don't even need to go that far if your on a budget...

just to squash the idea of stealing electric... they can trace back to the leak of electric, especially alot of it, and the fines are not 50,000+ try 500,000. its called a Hydro Electric Hookup and will put you in prison for awhile without growing. and i dont know about you but the half a million dollar fine... good luck.

Haha, no one is planning on stealing electricity....and I dont know about 500, 000 fines. Depending on where you are of course, but usually its a set fine and you have to pay for the potential loss of power, they dont know exactly how much you took, so they make an educated guess and charge you up the ass. And they charge you all the crazy fees for having the crew come out and fix everything.
