Electric dampers

Hey there...I'm wanting to know if/how you can hook up a 110/120v timer to a 24v transformer to open and close an electric dampers. Workin' on setting up a devoted cool air in take for the lights using a 432 cfm inline, teeing off for cool air in take to the room. I'm wanting to use timers on the dampers not termostat. Any help out there? Thanx

most electric dampers close when energized. keep that in mind.
but you can hook up a trans to a timer.

I bought these electric dampers and now see that the wiring diagram shows them hooked up to a thermostat. I don't want to hook them up to a thermostat. I am wondering if anyone else has worked with these before? I am planning on hooking up the 24 volt transformer to the electric duct motor and then run the 110 wires to my timer. Does anyone know if this will work before I try it and burn anything up?

That will work just fine. 110v leads to timer, 24v leads to actuator.
