'Well I transfered 6 of my babies into soil this morning, so no more humidity dome over them. The temperature in the room seems to be hovering around 68-69*, they dont have the heating mat under them anymore and I also started a small fan blowing on them to add some strength to the stem/stalk, so we'll see how they do. Im sure once I have my MH light going it will warm up in there signifigantly. Fingers crossed!

light....certtainly from all I've seen makes a BIG difference.....and likely even one of the more critical elements.......too little and no matter what nutes and water and soil/hydro set up you have - none of it will compensate for too little light. I suppose its possible to have too much but .....anyhow....continued good luck!

Well I have a bit of sadness to report, one of my lil seedlings seems to have died suddenly=(, Im not really too sure why it was just slumpped over and kinda grey looking.
But on a happier note, my 12th seed that wouldn't sprout, sprouted!! and is growing quite nicely, so thats a happy time fer sure=).

I have noticed that since I transplated the other 6 to soil and moved the light down (and got a fan) growth seems to be a lot slower, its probably that their just not trying to S T R E T C H so much now that their closer to the light and maybe the addition of the fan is helping the stalk thicken up?? I dunno, just trying to be positive ( = - I ).
Im sure once I get the MH going theyll livin back up!

hmmm..thats sort odd...eh? I wonder what that might have been from. soory to hear that......one lives as one dies....sort a like life itself....well except that we're now like multibillion people....so there's still more living than dying....okokokok.....so I'm off topic.....good luck man!

High,

looking good. Personally I'd still have a humidity dome over them until about 2 sets of leaves. They're still mega young, an I'd want em to at least have had one or two foliar sprays. there are a million ways to skin a cat, so i won't waffle on.

keep up the gppd works

Cheers!

Chances are they are developing sound root structure.

The three pics below are of a strain I'm currently on. It took ages for that little biatch to take off. Many people would have binned her, but I Nurture! She stayed in veg since she arrived as a clone 09/19/2007. First pic is 09/27/2007; so 8 days in veg. Pic 2 is 10/13/2007; so 21 days. After the first 16 days she was moved from the HPS room to a MH room to continue veg away from bloomers. Pic 3 is a sneak peak of her currently half way through bloom [edit: taken 11/25/2007; so after 16 days in bloom] of which state she has been in since 11/09/2007. All in all it took 51 days to veg her up.

Likewise I took some cuttings and one looked like it kicked the bucket when I potted her, but I knew she had a nice root formation coming on. So I misted her every day for what seemed like ages and kept the dome on her and soon enough I could no longer tell which was the straggler. I made a vow unto myself a couple years back that death is not an option.

Sorry to waffle. Good luck!!!

well thats what Im thinking(hoping) too, nice little root structure!!! But on last check I did notice that the leaves are somewhat bigger than before, last night I moved them even closer to the light (pretty much touching now) and I think they like that better!!
Im still only spraying the top of the soil and not really giving a good soaking, I wonder if maybe a little more of a watering less often would be better for them rather than a light watering three times a day?? any thought on this?
Thanks H.G

Question, Im going to start giving my plants some nutrients soon and am going to be using the Flora series, wondering weather just to follow the directions on the bottle?, mix small amounts of all three?? What sort of success ppl have had with this stuff??
