Good day guys,
Finally I solved the nutes def. and have my plants all heathy ready to flip 12/12. I guess I have have all the set up ready and flip by Sunday
holy shit it stunned them for like one and half month. took me so long to figure out where was the problem and recover

Now they are in 10x5 tent 11 buckets under scrog net.
two 600watt MH in iso cool vent out of the room, 9 pcs COB panel 300watt.
For nutes I use Maxibloom as base. some cal-mag and hydrohuard. water chiller to cool down res at 19-20 C
Window A/C at set at 25 when lights on. 26when off. temp in the tent 28 when lights on, 25 when lights off.

When lights on. A/C cool the room pretty well, but the tent is not cool as room unless I leave the tent opened.
I have 6' exhaust fan pull air out the tent, but still in the room. A/C is on another end use negative pressure to pull the cold air in.
Any idea how to cool the tent well for the setup like this?

After I flip I will still use the same formula I use for Veg.
Atfer two weeks, beside maxibloom I will add some Koolbloom for extra push.

Do I need to flush them for like 24 hours before I flip?
before I turn 12/12 do they need extra dark period?

Any feedbacks are welcome
Happy weekend

I don't flush my plants before switching light cycles. I also don't do a dark period. Y r u using bloom food for veg? That maybe where the the deficiency is coming from. U could move the tent closer to the ac unit.
Thanks for the feedback!
I use bloom food because people said maxibloom with 6 gram/ gal its pretty close to Lucas formula.
I have Nutes def. because I had my EC too high when plants were young.

My tent is close enough and I have a vent direct to where A/C comes out. Do one think I only have one hole for intake would be the problem?
I read when you want to use negative pressure to suck in air, The hole should be 2 or 3 times bigger than exhaust.

Any feedbacks are still welcome
happy grow~

I would cool from the bottom and vent at the top. Do u have a good ph/ec meter? I like the blue lab combo meter my self. I would probably look for a better veg nute. Maybe something with a base and then u add beg or flower nutes to it. I'm using botanicare kind with petty good results.

I'm certainly no professional grower but these are things that have helped me. I have a lot to learn still and I'm sure some one with more knowledge will chime in if I'm wrong.

The problem is My window A/C is set on the upper side of the window.
I need to connect long vent tube if I want to have want to cool intake on the low hole.
so right now I have one intake on the top direct to A/C. Another intake hole on the bottom of other end
use negative pressure to pull the air into the tent.
I still have 2 degree celsius between room and tent.(my room is colder)

Yes I have 3 function meter( PH, EC, TEMP) that hang on the side of res.
In my location cost me a lot to by nutes. I heard ppl get good result by using this formula.
Thats why I try is powder product instead of liquid bottle nutes.
I used GH flora Micro and Bloom 1:2 from beginning to end for my previous grows.
Its Lucas formula. It work fine with me. and I heard Maxibloom 7gram/ Gal its pretty close to Lucas formula.
Thats why I try this. (Might able to cut me some money on nutes)

Thanks a lot for sharing your knowledge here. glad I have RIU here.
And I here learning too. still long way to go to be a decent grower

Any feedbacks are welcome
happy grow

You solved your own problem:

I have Nutes def. because
because people said maxibloom with 6 gram/ gal its pretty close to Lucas formula.
Lucas formula is mostly a joke. Why would any of us use 2 of the 3 bottles from a company that specifically designed the 3 bottles to work with each other?

Using a nutrient that is properly formulated will always work better than cutting corners and pretending everything will be the same.

I understand that nutrients in certain places around the globe can be hard to obtain and/or expensive. I would look into a one-part nutrient or something affordable. You'll have healthy plants, and that's priceless.

I agree with you healthy plants is priceless for sure!
GH Maxi series is actually one-part nute (MaxiGro for veg MaxiBloom for flowering)
I skip MaxiGro use straight MaxiBloom in early veg.
Im sure I will get some MaxiGro. Hope that would do will for next run.

Last night I have the res change.
use MaxiBloom and Cal-mag EC 1.3 PH 6.0
some Hydroguard for safety

Any one use Maxi series here?
My tap water PH 6.7-7.0. When I use GH flora it usually buffered PH it its range.
When use maxi, I bring down PH to 4.5. is that usual?

Two days after flip
I will have some pics update later.
happy grow

Here are some pics I just took
I think they are start stretching now

11 buckets ebb and grow

A fan blowing above plants have them move slightly.

Two 600watt mh with air cool hood. Pull cold air from outside of the tent, and exhaust out of the room.
9pcs 3500k cob panel @50% 300watt
This panel is kind of expensive for me, I haven't use it finished a run yet, but I can tell plants grow quicker than the ones under mh. Let's see how it work in flowering stageimage.jpegimage.jpeg

125liter res bucket. With tri-meter and chiller
The meter can not read my EC right, and I can not correct it at all, so I have another pen for EC.
PH raise 0.2 in two days, it's around 6.0 now. EC 1.3
Chiller set 18C but my meter show 21 tho
image.jpeg

Exhaust fan pull the air out of the tent connect with carbon filter.
image.jpeg

Two 6" intake one on the top of the tent direct to where A/C come from. Another one its on the other side of bottom of the tent. Both of the end covered by filter paper to block dust.
image.jpeg
I'm still having problem with my setup. Temp still can not get cool enough inside of the tent, but the room is pretty cold. My tent is 28c when lights on 25 when lights of. And it's 2 degree C lower in my room.
I wonder i could be not strong enough intake air to pull cold air into the tent? I also tried one intake hole last night. Only leave the one that direct to the A/C. It doesn't work for me. I stay in the tent when it all closed. Intake air don't get any stronger, and negative pressure suck my tent so bad.
In this case should I Add another intake fan pull A/C air in?

Sorry for all these noob questions.
Any feedbacks are welcome
Happy grow guys

Good day guys,

into 16 days after flip
They have been stretch a lot. Some branches in the middle of the buckets dont have much space
beside that they are looking fine to me.
This is my first time run this big tent. Hope I can have you experienced grower check out my grow, and let me know if anything need to be correct.

Sorry I was too stoned. My lighting LED panel is actually 6 pcs CXB-3590 3500K so its 300watt for a panel.
switch too HPS bulb last night two 600watt

Sorry for the bad pic quality
Any feedback or input are appreciate.
Thanks in advance

Looks good man, you're doing you're best with the temperature battle. If you're pants are doing ok then I say you'll be fine.

Plants look healthy

You have an awesome set up

@714steadyeddie thanks for the feedback.

Yes, I'm battle with the heat. This is my first time using A/C. I try to keep my temp under 80F, but sometimes it gets over 80. Not sure if it's ideal temp for flowering tho.

Glad to hear that I have heathy plants. This is my also my first run with those LED panel. Let's see how they work. If they work with great result I might think about ditch HID. I think they are doing well in veg.(more bushy compare with plants under HID.)

I will keep update some pics, still want to hear some feedbacks from u guys.
Cheers

Hi Ligrow just let you no you should be pulling air through your filter not pushing the air out through it.

Hi bryangtho thanks for the feedback.
The reason I set it up like this is I don't want any more weight on my tent. Cuz I just hang the cob panel on, I can feel the pole is already kind of banned right now. So I try to hang less on it as possible.
I have see some video on YouTube. That guy say it's ok to put filter out of the tent. That's pretty much how it came up with.

any advice would be awesome.
Cheers

Very nice grow by the way. Yes I no what you mean by the weight on the tent. I no you can get a hanger for the filter designed for the tent.

thanks! really happy to hear that lol. I been grow for few runs, and fucked up most of time.
As I mentioned above, this is my first time running op big like this( actually pretty big for me)
I will keep update my grow, and looking forward to heard some feedbacks from you guys.
still trying to learn here.

btw whats the hanger for the filter? Isnt that still hanging on the tent?

No it sits no the floor of tent and you can adjust it to suit the filter and the fan.
I can not find a picture of one anywhere I had one a few years ago

ive been using the gh maxi series for years with great results, use grow at 1 tsp per gallon durring veg ,at flip week 1-3 of bloom go half tsp grow, half tsp bloom per gal, after week 3 go to full bloom..raise your ppm at each rez change weeks 1-3 900ppm-1,000ppm weeks 3-6 1,100ppm-1,500ppm weeks 6n 7 add powder koolbloom at 1/4th tsp per gal,,i flush for the last 5-7 days with kleen but how long i flush depends on how much plants are drinking each day...i did nutrient testing side by side tables for years just to find that gh maxi series and gh nova series always produced best..maxi is the best and cheapest nute out there that is great and easy for begginers to pro's...try my nute list and let me know what u think, youll get the best yields youve ever had with these nutes..fiy the liquid kool bloom is useless, the powder is great tho, it bulks up buds and promotes maturity last 2-3 weeks..gh cal mag,, it depends on your water if u use r/o water you need cal mag, if u use tap chancees are you dont depends on the ppm of your water...good luck and grow well

I've used floranova maxi & the 3 part flora series gh now has a schedule for the maxi series nutes using the additives commonly used in their 3- part nutes I made the mistake of over feeding in my waterfarm setting my grow back over a month I have enough of the 3 part flora series to last a year or more otherwise I would be using the maxi series now I'm not sure about the Lucas formula but no matter what I use I've learned to rely on my ppm. Meter as even a minor over feeding will set you back a lesson hard learned for me less is definitely more
