I am about to start an ebb and flow system, I would like to know if i need anything other than botanicare Pure Blend - Grow and Bloom Formulas and my ph up and down. Also what additives to you find useful when growing with these nutrients.

Dusty if this is your first grow just keep it as simple as possible so just use the grow and bloom of your choice nothing else unless other factors cause you to have to add Cal Mag (RO water not necessarily just use tap and you wont have to add Cal Mag) . If this is your first grow you do not need any of the headaches messing around adding shit that you don't need you will be kept busy just keeping everything going smoothly. DO your research on RW it only needs to be flooded 1 time a day and depending on the stage of your plant 2 at most so you need to be up to speed. Keep it simple man until you have one under your belt and then you will have more confidence to add some stuff if you wish.

Best advice right there man. Especially on a first grow. Keep it simple and as you get one under you then try experimenting but careful of what advice you take when you do decide to use it. Ask the advice giver how they got that info and if it was from experience ask for photos or some proof so that you know it really worked. But for now just do what he said keep it simple and learn slowly. That is better then wasting time and trying to do to much and killing your plant from not know how to adjust things or just having it come out real bad and then you get disappointed.
