Ok here's the deal. I have an aquaponics setup and im making it larger to support more plants. I have a 35 gallon sterlite tub that i'm going to use to hold the plants in hydroton in my greenroom so they will have direct sunlight.

Here's the question: How many plants can the tub effectively hold comfortably? I'd like to fit 6 in it since that's what my license allows for.

Im growing 6 each in 10gal tubs

there should be room for 6 in that 35gal

you could use 2inch holes with little neoprines or 2 inch net pots maybee get 12 instead of six.....get two tubs and drill two diffrent sets of holes and go from there.....smaller plant smaller holes bigger pland needs more room bigger holes....

i would recomend doing more holes with smaller pots. more plants. sea of green style. it would probably be a quicker harvest. less veg time to get them big.
