Easy question I think. Just need confirmation.

Throughout the course of my grow as the nutes start to drop my soil ph, I was thinking to raise the ph back up I'd use Brita Filtered tap water at my home with a ph of 7.4. By doing this I assume I would be able to raise the soil ph back up to where I want it be over the course of a few waterings.

Sound about right?

No, it won't raise the PH, unless you flush it. Simply watering them, won't do it. Soil has too much of a buffer effect. Flush it with 6.5-6.8, until the runoff comes out the same, and then your PH will be alright. :)

if u want to raise your ph buy some dolomite Lime and water it in , this is also a ph buffer and will aid your plant in magnesium and calcium also. if u want to lower soil ph use agriculture sulphar. forget the britta filter dude u are stripping the metals from the water that your plants need.
