Earliest flowering strains for breeding?

Well your first photo x auto the f1 gen will be all photos with reduced flowering time this is how they make those fast versions they sell now after f2 they should start to shift a few will be fast versions a few full photos a few autos if you want the auto trait its recessive so each gen from f2 and onwards select hard for that trait from then and in the subsequent generations thats how you lock it in the auto trait you seek

Thanks — I’m still considering which direction to take my breeding project. Will either focus on earlier flower or just greater resistance to shitty weather. My main problem with going the autoflower route is I hear they’re basically impossible to clone, which would be unfortunate if I ever wind up with a really stunning specimen...

Maybe look at kwik seeds they are also therealseedcompany mosty landrace or heirlooms they have friesland indica i mean that shit grows pretty much anywhere works in the uk and our weather sucks rarely stops raining and is also a semi auto might be handy for your needs there pretty early

You might consider some of Beanhoarders outdoor stuff at Hemp Depot. Cheap, but good genetics.

Another way to get the early finishers is to make your own. Keep a clone of what you put outdoors and note the potent early finishers, with mold resistance...they're the ones you want to sic the males on.

Many people don't care for the man, but DR. Greenthumb has some seeds that do well outdoors. Or you could grab some of Green Thumbs Iranian and cross everything you fancy to it. It usually results in a marked earlier finish with everything crossed to it.

Nice, thanks! I’m sort of going that route this coming spring. Got seeds from crosses I made last year and will be stress testing them.

Get some mighty freeze from real gorilla seeds. Makes excellent crosses for increasing mold resistance and finish times. Makes indoor (x mf) crosses finish end of sept in my experience. Mighty freeze is the business for outdoor crosses.

My Ass Cheese has most of the things you are looking for. It's also out of Oregon. It's Cindy's Blue Cheese X Donkey Kong. My longest day is 14 hours 7 minutes, so it will flower just about anytime it goes out. Had one year before last to flower in May and never re-veg. Although if timed just right, I can get a month or two of veg most of the time.

My friend put some dark heart blueberry muffin clones outside the first week of June and they started flowering immediately and flowered all summer. I'm not sure when they were actually finished since he just let them go, but it was definitely the earliest outdoor plant I've ever seen.

Oregon produces good things. It's also a beautiful state with more things to enjoy than time to enjoy them.

World of seeds Pakistan Valley
Super fast flowering, quality smoke, potent, very dense buds for a fast flowering variety.Yeilds very well. It's one of the few that does better than the label on the tin, I would have never have grown it had it not been included in free seeds, and I'm dam glad it was.
