Keep voting to change it, that's your right.

We'll be here in reality waiting for you.

Except reality requires consistency, which is why turning a blind eye to systemic force from government while abhorring the force from a killer like Dylan Roof, means you're not there yet.

I'll be here in reality waiting for you. Peace.

If we didn't talk politics I'd rip a bowl with ya, you seem a nice guy albeit with (imo) unrealisticly idealistic opinions.

Well that was polite. Thank you. I'm glad your meds have calmed you down some.

Speaking of unrealistic...How can a thing, an involuntary based government, which relies on systemic coercion also be the thing which prevents people from being coerced? (Rob Roy lights a fat doobie and takes a satisfied drag as a smug grin crosses his hairy visage)

Let's just avoid that talk altogether.

Perhaps it's the way you present your ideas or something but my "bullshit utopia" alarm just starts ringing right away.

Perhaps the problem is in your alarm identification.

What you might be hearing is the sound of your own cognitive dissonance bell in your head.

I can see why you would want to avoid that discussion, since it only makes the alarm louder to have to confront the idea that what is "normal" is pretty much based in a lie.

That's an interesting topic for another thread if one doesn't exist already.
Why did you have to kill them? Could you not wait for them to finish their life cycle and enjoy the blessed fruit?
We can discuss it here no worries. It relates. Yes, I could wait until the plant dies on its own. Is that what you do? This strain I don't like the trichs full amber. Some I do. Even then the plant's not dead when I harv.

Do you use paper?

I don't know who you are talking about, I'm a firm believer if somebody is sent to prison and is innocent, they should receive a hefty sum, but more importantly is get to the bottom of how and why it happened.. Cops lied? Send those pigs to prison and take their pension and put it in a fund for exonerated cons. Cops beat a false confession ( very common til around 2000) etc .

D.A. withhold evidence? Send them to prison, take their pension and toss that in the fund.

There is no accountability for police, district attorneys, judges, witnesses who commit perjury .
Wanna bet that Trump's administration will take up this cause? I'll bet not.

Did you see the news about the guy arrested because a sock full of Kitty litter he hung in his car to control moisture was mistaken for Meth?
5 k to the bail bondsman
lawyer fees
lost time at work
mug shot still on file

What the guy is seeking is an apology and the removal of the mugshot. Police dept refuses. They haven't even taken steps to improve their test methods.

It's a good thing the guy didn't have much money on him during the arrest or he would have had that taken too.

Just figured I'd post this to get your dander up.

Except you're now disagreeing with your previous position, which was you don't like threats of offensive force etc.
I said I don't like the idea of a mass murderer living among us. I consider that a greater threat than a tax lien on my property.

If you don't pay the forcible taxation and refuse to let them steal your home...won't your life be threatened then? Ultimately, wouldn't you be killed ? Isn't THAT a threat of offensive force foisted on a large part of "society" ?
Eh? I've always paid my taxes, so perhaps I'm speaking out of ignorance here, but I'm pretty certain that an IRS agent won't lop my head off if I fall behind on my taxes.

If you don't agree with how your tax dollars are spent, why do you have "no problem" paying them. Also if you DID agree with how a person who took your money under threats of force spent it, does that justify the taking of it by force from others who don't agree?
I said that I don't always agree with how my tax dollars are spent (ie waging war), but for the most part I feel that they fund necessary things like infrastructure, schools, social safety nets, etc. If I could send my tax payments in with a sticky note specifying what I want it spent on I would do that.

What if Dylan Roof was a tax collector enforcer and the people he shot were peaceful people who simply refused to be extorted from and leave their home or church if the church hadn't been "granted" a tax exemption ..what then? Would he be a hero?
No Rob, I wouldn't consider someone a hero for killing 9 people over past due taxes. That's kind of a silly analogy.
