Such a strong statement with no reasoning to back it up... I guess we know where the pile of shit is (hint: its not in the hempy bucket)
Hey Bain, are you using them now??? I would like to get some wide spread opinion. I will definantly give it a shot. It could answer my problems, but I intend to do it in the future, when I have an extra bucket and perlite, to do it up. Then I will throw a clone in there and give it a shot. I was even thinking of using it with 16 oz. cups. If you have exp. with it, I can use dirt right? It's just about the res????

No, I'm gunna finish up this grow and my next set will be hempy style. I've read everything I can about it and... if nothing else it... it isn't too expensive to try. You only have a bucket and some filler to buy.

If you're going from clone, start them off in rockwool, or peat pellet of your choice. Once they root just place them in the small bucket/cup and water daily.

I'm not quite sure I understand your question about the dirt. Yes, using a 16oz cup at first is fine, but you wouldn't want to fill it with soil. As soon as it forms roots from your clone starting medium, it goes right into the 16oz cup of perlite.

This is just my understanding of it, and I think its accurate. Azgrow and Lumberjack know a lot more than I do. If you wanna follow a new grow journal of a hempy grower check this one out.

I have never tried hempy buckets (yet!) but this is my first time he he with a bubble bucket and to my suprise it has been easier than I ever would have imagined, I just followed this advice
Ask Lucas - Cannabis-World

wich is actually where I was reffered to by someone on this site, no water changes during the grow, just water replacment and topping with nutes. This is so easy I cant believe it and super fast growth...
