I just use tap water and adjust the PH . i don't worry about clorine or anything. If this was at bad levels in my house , my house plants would look like shit . My house plants look awsome. I adjust the PH because I grow in a hydro system.

One word of advice dont by a cheap low flow one. yea , you think 50 GPD(gallons per day) should be fine right. Wrong. After a while all the stuff you have filtered out will slow your water production nearly in half, so i wouldn't get anything less than a 100 GPD

I Use tap water.,, But i have a salt water aquarium that needs pure water or else it blooms algae.

Wouldn't a large reservoir (50 gal) with a float valve be sufficient for any small grow regardless of r/o output? I understand if you're installing it next to your kitchen sink, but if it's a dedicated system for growing you should be fine with low flow (and regular filter changes). Or am I wrong?

all good ideas. main question here is if i use the ro water increase the amount of nutes to my plants, and is it benificial. will it just burn the shit out of them. or taking out those extra ppms in the tap water, give room for more nutes without burning them?

A few important things have already been said here to answer your question. You should probably obtain a water sample report from your local water company. It will tell you exactly what is in the water. You can use tap water and you should be fine in most cases, although every water system is different so test yours to get all the facts you need. Just follow the guidelines of the choice you make. If you use RO then be careful not to play the "pH rollercoaster", if you go tap let it sit out to be on the safe side. It won't hurt to let it sit out and you will already have it measured out.

Take it easy and apply nutes in stages (i.e. 1/4 str, 1/2 str) and see how the girls take to it. Anything you choose can be detrimental if you don't practice caution. If you are worried about over-nutin' then don't put that many nutes in there to start.
