I throw it in the microwave in betweem 2 damp paper towels in 10 seconds periods, letting the nug cool off in between

I have done the oven. I just get it warm and turn it off and put the weed in it.

Put it in a small paper bag and put it oven on a glass pan,no hotter than180degrees

Microwave works but man that bud tastes like shit . . . use a bong with some flavored water or something cause that can be some really nasty smoke.

Ike broke some of my Bud heads, so I had to process.... made a flower arrangement. Orange Bud/Master Kush. They can dry as they sit. No light, no oven, no micro. Even then, they will taste like shit(grass clippings), unless cured right. I like to make a single layer in a pizza box, and dry them that way, or hang them. The difference between shit weed & good shit is the drying & curing process.
The container is a vase made to look like a coffee cup, only it's real big. Dry weight should be about 2 1/2 Oz's. Dam shit was heavy.

Build yourself a bud dryer. I'm useless when it comes to diy projects but was able to build my dryer yesterday by following this tutorial. Supposed to dry a 1/4 pound in 4 days. If you got a larger yield then use a bigger container and fan.

dont put weed in the microwave. thats like blasphemy. depends on how big the nug is but the only way i really trust is to put the little fucker under a lamp. (like a desktop lamp) for about two hours. if you are taking a larger sample id do the oven thing. (the paper bag sounded like a good idea.)

check out this link it provides several different methods to quick dry. I am a month into flowering and just had to see how my first grow was going so i cut a little bottom bud off that had about 30% brown hairs I am gonna use the oven method on the site. check it out.
