Drying question.. to trim or not to trim?

should you wait to trim the buds till after they are dried? and if you do, will the leaves be all dried up and hard to get rid of, or will they still be green? sorry this is my first harvest.

Trim the leaves closely right after cutting each branch. It's hard to do later and works better up front. Dry those "sugar leaves" apart from other leaves - they are almost as good as the buds.

Definitely manicure before drying. You will have a helluva time getting those bud leafs out when they recede.
